Joshua Peacock was first played by Brandon Jackson however has been played by Stephen Collins since 2004. He is currently played by Benjamin Beresford.
Joshua was born on the 8th April 2002 at Weatherfield General Hospital. He is the son of Maxine Peacock. At first it was believed that Maxine's husband Ashley Peacock was his father, however it was revealed that Maxine had had a one-night stand with Matt Ramsden, Joshua's real father. Ashley was listed as Joshua's father on his birth certificate and has bought him up as his own.
Maxine was killed by Richard Hillman when Joshua was just nine months old. Joshua now has a stepmother, Claire Peacock, who started off as his nanny. Shortly after Claire found out she was pregnant, Matt got in touch with Ashley and requested to see his son. Matt has now visited Joshua and has regular contact with him. Amber Kalirai
Template:Coronation Street character Amber Kalirai (played by Nikki Patel) is the long lost daughter of Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and works in his corner shop when not at school. She first arrived on November 9th, 2005, when her mum Ravinder was taken into hospital and she was looked after by Sunita and her dad Dev on the Street. Amber started helping out in the corner shop but her incessant chat wound up Dev.
Initially Dev did not want Amber in his life as he was married to Sunita Parekh at the time and she served as a reminder of his philandering ways. However, he warmed to her and she came to live with him after her mother Ravinder moved to Finland with her partner. She had a crush on fellow neighbour David Platt but he was initially unaware of her feelings. When he did confront her, she denied it.
In early 2008, Amber began working at Valandros restaurant with Leanne, Paul and Luigi until it was set alight by Paul. Dev then claimed that he did not want her any where near Paul.
Freddie Peacock
Template:Coronation Street character
Frederick "Freddie" Thomas Peacock (né Thomas Duncan Peacock) was born on 17 July 2006 to Claire and Ashley Peacock. Freddie was caught in the Peacock's fire on 8 May 2007. Freddie was found safely on 21 May, and returned to his parents in hospital.
Freddie's mother Claire suffered from post-natal depression soon after Freddie was born. She believed that Freddie wasn't her own and that she had got the wrong baby. On one occasion, she pushed his pram into the path of an oncoming vehicle but luckily the driver stopped before hitting him. His mother was then sectioned and was soon well enough to come home and look after him again
In October 2006, Claire announced that she would like to have his name changed from Thomas to Freddie, after his paternal grandfather (who had died only a week before), so Thomas's name was changed accordingly. In December 2006 he was christened Frederick Thomas, with Eileen Grimshaw as his godmother, and Roy Cropper as his godfather.
Freddie went missing when he was taken by Claire's friend, who she met through the Weatherfield Women In Crisis hotline, Casey Carswell. Casey meant no harm, but was offended when Claire called the police when she found Freddie missing.
In May 2007, after his father and stepbrother Josh went out for a few days, Claire's neighbour Eileen put Freddie to bed and Claire herself went to bed shortly after. Not long after, she was woken by the smoke alarm, and to her shock found a fire was had been started in Freddie's bedroom. Claire in shock fell down the stairs into unconsciousness, but was shortly after rescued by Jamie and Kirk. As news spread that Freddie had not be rescued from the fire, residents believed the worse. It wasn't until Ashley returned on May 21 to the Street and spoke to investigators, that they informed the couple that Freddie had not been in the house when the fire began.
Freddie was found later in the day wrapped up in a local park. It was revealed that the fire was started deliberately by use of an accelerant which has led to confusion for his parents. Originally, this storyline was to last several months, not one day, but it was changed to avoid upsetting the family of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared two weeks earlier, and has still not been found.[1]
In September 2007 the identity of Freddie's abductor was revealed to be Casey, as she had been seen around Weatherfield since. Casey abducted Freddie and took him to the balcony of her flat where she threatened to jump with him. Fortunately Casey did not jump and Freddie was unharmed. Casey was arrested on the spot. His parents briefly split but have now got back together.

Janice returned alone in March and he returned two months later. In 2007, he invested £10,000 in Leanne Battersby's restaurant, which Leanne at first struggled to pay back but eventually did so. Wiki Dankowska
Template:Coronation Street character

Wiki (pronounced as Viki) first appeared as a new employee of Carla Connor at the Underworld factory. She was recruited by Becky Grainger to work the evening shift at Underworld. It didn’t take long for Wiki’s hard work to be rewarded and she was given a permanent job at the factory. As a Polish immigrant, she was paid less than other employees, and they became concerned that their pay would be affected by this. She was bullied by Joanne Jackson and Janice Battersby, but Hayley Cropper secured her equal pay from Liam Connor, when the workers went on strike after Sean Tully was fired by Liam's brother Paul.
She is the only factory worker to have seen Kasia Barowicz fall and die in the factory during an illegal shift. Paul, Carla and Liam covered up Kasia's death until 8:00am the following morning, when the death would be covered by their insurance. Wiki went along with this when Carla told her that if they didn't do this, Kasia's family would get no compensation money.
Wiki has a son back home in Poland, aged 21, and she is working in Underworld to support him. She has started her own business, selling underwear.

Template:Coronation Street character
Darryl Morton is portrayed by former Grange Hill actor Jonathan Dixon, [2] real life friend of Jack P. Shepherd[3] and first appeared onscreen March 18 2007. On April 26 2008 it was announced that Darryl had been axed from the show along with the rest of the Morton family in 2008. [4]
A typical roguish member of his dysfunctional clan, he lives in the shed of the garden of Number 6. He has been in trouble with the law for several motoring offences, and was horrified when twin sister Mel said she planned to join the police. After the character's arrival he was in the background, and not much known about him. There was question about his and the rest of his character's family's popularity with the viewing public.[5]
In April 2007 it was announced that the character would be involved in a heavy marijuana smoking scene with Vernon Tomlin. Although this scene never aired.
We do not set out to shock and sensationalise.
Although the scene didn't air eventually, there was a milder scene at the Morton's housewarming party where Vernon took on a mellow disposition after smoking a joint Darryl gave him.
On 16 September 2007, Darryl's friend 'Stig' asked him to look after some ecstasy tablets. Afraid that his dad would find them, he asked David Platt to look after them, but he hid them in one of his niece's dolls.[6] However, when Bethany swallowed one, David decided to protect his friend and bailed Darryl out by taking the blame for possession. The storyline also received some criticism.
After a brief flirtation in the rovers with barmaid Lauren Wilson, Darryl began dating her. After a few dates of playing hard to get, they bagen seeing each other on a more regular basis. He often pays for their dates and drinks, even though Mel told him that his money is the only reason she is interested. Their involvement with each other came to an end when Lauren became angry with him having no money, and said they were never an item.

Mel stood him up, and to get his revenge he spread gossip that he had slept with Mel. He was eventually dragged into Jerry's takeaway by Gail Platt to apologise to Mel.
In February 2008, Mel became WPC Morton, joining her friend Abi Sharpe. [7]
Mel has argued and took great dislike to her mother when she returned in May 2008, to help care for Kayleigh and Finlay after Jerry had suffered from a heart attack and recovered while he was in hospital.
On April 26 2008 it was announced that the character of Mel was axed by new producer Kim Crowther.[1]

He is known for letting the air out of people's tyres and was warned by Jodie, about doing so. He was also paid by Kayleigh to keep quiet about her clubbing. In June 2008, Teresa briefly conned Lloyd Mullaney into thinking Finlay was his son. On April 26 2008 it was announced that the character would depart in 2008 with the rest of the Morton family.[1]

This led to a rough patch in the relationship, but was overcome and the couple remained together happily. Marcus and his partner Sean delivered Violet and Sean's son when Violet went into labour in The Rovers on 22nd February 2008. He was by the side of Maria Connor as she gave birth to her stillborn baby. Marcus and Sean are now planning to move into a flat together, but plans go astray when Tony Gordon fires Sean from the Underworld, but Tony later gives Sean his job back, which looms in the days leading up to Marcus's departure. She is a bubbly character who likes to think she shares a personal empathy with other people's problems.
