Block log annotated
Please see here. I don't want this to set a precedent. This was only done to balance the situation with Blechnic. I'll note this at the ANI thread and that should be the end of it. If there are any problems with the block, let me know. Carcharoth (talk) 02:09, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

australian radio stations
Sorry to burst your bubble, but i think you need to chill out a bit when it comes to deleting peoples work. most other radio stations dont have sources that are on the list. However, so you can be "sure" here is a website that talks about the new station www.newmedia.com.au . I've been doing some imaging and production for the new station - So I cannot actually add to the list, so I suggest you fix it;) . TX is being built in the Wagga CBD —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.171.176.77 (talk • contribs) .
- Please assume good faith. That list is in for some changes (IE: Sourcing and those station who can't be sourced will be removed). If you work from them then you have a conflict of interest to the company. Also I live in Wagga so where in the CBD is it located? PS. Please see User talk:59.101.100.194 for more info I've posted about www.newmedia.com.au. Bidgee (talk) 01:59, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
would this help? http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/licence_search.licence_lookup?pLICENCE_NO=483087
i suppose that isnt good enough either - considering that you have been lieing about talking to the ACMA? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.68.62.152 (talk) 03:32, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not lieing about talking to ACMA (Infact they are withholding some info I'm after)! Thank you for the link which is reliable but as Matilda has said about the Wikipedia is not a crystal ball policy. Please add the station once the station is up and running (which no doubt will be in the local media). Bidgee (talk) 03:40, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Then will you remove all the other stations that are coming soon - like in wollongong? remembering that the original post is did say "coming soon"... so why not for stations that say (Future Service) ? like Wollongong? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.68.62.152 (talk) 03:50, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I missed those but now have been removed as per Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Bidgee (talk) 04:07, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- My two cents - the website at http://www.newmedia.com.au/ states Ben Shields reports that Wagga will soon have a new radio station. "HIT Country 88" will start broadcasting on LPON license FM88.0 in the city soon. Shields, who is the General Manager, expects to launch the station in the coming months. Wikipedia has a policy about future events: Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. I do not believe mention of the station before it airs is appropriate. The source does not meet the guideline of Wikipedia:Reliable sources - ie it is not a reliable, third-party, published source. When it is up and broadcasting ... add it to the list then --Matilda talk 02:06, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Mortimer
- Practically the only footballer I have ever heard of is Cazaly as in the song. If you think notable do add back with links :-) Glad to see you taking a break from retirement ;-) Regards --Matilda talk 00:08, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe there needs to be a list of famous wagga sportspeople? In the mean time however I have reformatted the section as it was getting busy and created anew stub Mortimer brothers :-) --Matilda talk 00:20, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Car photos
Hi Bidgee. I noticed that you have been taking some great car photos. I though I was the only user that actually took photographs of non-police cars in Australia. It is great to see that I am not alone. I would encourage you to continue to take photos of both police and "normal" vehicles so we can continue to illustrate Wikipedia articles. My only concern is that you upload photos without knowing the full details of the car. Below are a number of web sources that could make your job much, much easier:
- Red Book: contains detailed model information (including make and models along with model designations like VE and VZ for the Holden Commodore, and BA, BF and FG for the Ford Falcon).
- CarPoint: a used-car site that contains many images, thus making it very easy to indentify models. OSX (talk • contributions) 06:37, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Sacredland
I'm new to editing Wikipedia, so maybe this is not the right place to post this comment (in reference to your Lake Cowal criticism). I attempted to add an in-text citation to the Sacred Land report on Lake Cowal, which contains none of my own research. Apparently this citation didn't work, but I will attempt to recreate the information I provided with a working link as soon as I can Sacredland (talk) 23:56, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

- I'm not monitoring you! Carcharoth user talk page is in my watchlist and I've read whats been said and see the points of both sides but you need to cut the attitude to other editors as it's unhelpful and is unlikely to resolve the current issues with the editors. Incorrect data in chart
Russian GDP (2007): 1,289,582 millions dollars
Russian population: 141,912,800
GDP per capita (2007): 9087 dollars per capita
GDP per capita (2006): 6954 dollars per capita
On chart we see 2500 dollars per capita for 2006 year

It is WP:PN, subject for speedy deletion.--93.80.101.39 (talk) 04:02, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Is there a link to prove this? ATM the chart is sourced and if it is incorrect you need a source such as a link or a report/book. Bidgee (talk) 04:04, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Russian population data from Russian Federal State Statistics Service, GDP data from International Monetary Fund and World Bank.--93.80.101.39 (talk) 04:11, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have much time to look for the data (If you could post some link it may help). If it is wrong I'm sure someone will redo the graph to reflect the facts. Bidgee (talk) 04:14, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Links you can see above. 986 940 000 000 dollars (World Bank 2006 data)/ 141 912 800 (population) = 6954 dollatrs per capita. On chart we see 2500. --93.80.101.39 (talk) 04:23, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Note
I responded here and at the user's page as I indicated I would if such behavior continued. I am not endorsing the image's inclusion in the article, that is a content matter for discussion, however using a Media: link to create a spoiler type situation is against policy and won't be permitted. Thank you for bringing this to more widespread attention. MBisanz talk 07:16, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Optus outsourcing
Thanks, I've added the last one, it's better than nothing. The other two only refer to the Indian outsourcing, which is already cited in the article anyway. -- Rob.au (talk) 14:18, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Tamworth Airport
Bidgee, whilst I cannot quote a reliable internet source, I know for a fact that Virgin scouted Tamworth as a destination for their new E Jet aircraft as per newspaper articles which are now inaccessible and carious responses from Virgin Blue regarding my suggestions of the addition of Tamworth to their network (it was stated that it was investigated and seriously looked at). With regards to Tiger Airways, they have travelled to Tamworth. This was not recorded on paper ut was told by someone in the know that they had. Also, Tiger have a tendency to follow up on their examples. They said that somewhere such as Melbourne could be their base when they first announced flights and so on. Common sense and forward thinking would therefore suggest that it is almost concrete that Tiger would be flying to Tamworth. However, to keep everyone at peace, I did not put this on the Tamworth Airport page, yet merely stated all the facts. Revert Page Steve Mortimer
Bidgee I noticed you reverted my comments on the Steve Mortimer page. The quotes I posted from Bob Fulton and Frank Hyde are on record, go to youtube.com and type "Steve Mortimer". There is a 10 minute video which includes interviews with Bob and Frank on camera. I cannot post the url as this site will not allow it.
Frankytee (talk) 02:23, 11 July 2008 (UTC)frankytee
Bidgee "...youtube not reliable source..." What an arrogant comment, is Wikipedia a dictatorship now? Have you even bothered to see the video? It shows a clear interview with Bob Fulton and Frank Hyde who quote exactly what I posted. What could be more reliable than the direct source, the actual person? Or are you suggesting whatever meets your standards should only be considered reliable? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.88.56.214 (talk • contribs) 03:24, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

user:Madingogo's mad reverts
Thanks, Bidgee, for reverting Mandigogo's crazy delete rampage. He is following my history list. All Madingogo's edits are on articles I previously edited, and he's in the process of editing out my contributions. I believe he is a sockpuppet of the banned editor, Prester John, who has been banned twice for similar activity. Regards, --Lester 04:48, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

"Vandalism" at Richard Williams (rugby league)
Hi Bidgee - re your reverts for "vandalism" at Richard Williams (rugby league) - just wondering if leaving warning templates on the user(s) talk page(s) might be constructive? To me it looks more of a content dispute than vandalism - obviously someone objects to this incident being mentioned. (I have no idea if he was convicted or not, maybe the article needs to be updated or the section removed in line with WP:NPF.) Even so, it would be helpful to leave a uw-delete for the user(s) and they may open discussion on the article talk page. Cheers, •Florrie•leave a note• 07:48, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- Gotcha. Didn't realise he had an interest in league! •Florrie•leave a note• 08:26, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

South East Metro
Hi Bidgee, An editor Coolkids000 created a whole bunch of articles related to "South East Metro" which includes stations that doesn't exist (nor announced or have any sources supporting their existence). Such articles include:
- Taylor Square railway station, Sydney
- Paddington railway station, Sydney
- Fox Studios railway station, Sydney
- Randwick railway station, Sydney
- Kensington railway station, Sydney
- Kingsford railway station, Sydney
- Maroubra railway station, Sydney
Please take a look and whether they should be nominated for deletion. Thanks! --Pikablu0530 (talk) 13:02, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
US Droughts
Everytime I try including verification sources for the droughts that happened or happen over the US, somehow these sources become disregarded as being external links. Secondly, my information on US Droughts happens being out of approximate information.
Why does Wikipedia keep disregarding my sources?
