Nepal Gray Langur ('Semnopithecus schistaceus') is a Gray Langur endemic to south eastern Asia, including Nepal, China, India, Pakistan, Bhutan Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.[1]
The Nepal Gray Langur has a diet composed of leaves, fruit and flowers. Males grow between 51 to 78 centimeters and females grow between 40 to 68 centimeters. Maturity is achieved by females at age 3-4 while males achieve maturity at age 4-5. The Nepal Gray Langur has a lifespan of 20 years in the wild, 25 in captivity. Children are usually single births.[2]
