Luke Allen (born March 21, 1991), also known as Lukas Surplu (~Lukas;Surplu) is a student at Leeds College of Technology studying Computer Games Development. The course in which he is taking part includes computer programming, website building, 3D modelling and other business studies related to computing.
Spare Time
General
Luke spends most of his time surfing the Internet discovering many new websites. His main interests on the web are MySpace, Wikipedia and using Windows Live Messenger. He is on MySpace almost everyday to check updates and messages from friends. He also contributes to Wikipedia often; fixing typo's, grammar and spelling mistakes. He has contributed to over 200 English Wikipedia articles. WLM is the last of his main interests as he likes to keep in contact with his friends.
Programming/Coding
Luke is an intermediate C++ programmer where he has gained this knowledge from his current college. He is able to create simple programs such as calculators and slightly more advanced programs. Luke is hoping to learn much more C++ in his second year of college. Luke's strongest point is the abilty to code websites from scratch. He has an excellent understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript, giving him the ability to make dynamic layouts with client-side cusomization scripts. Luke has made several website layouts earning him money which he wishes to do more of in the future. His personal website (EkulProductions) is based on computing and designing.
Golf
Luke is known better by his family and close friends for his sporting curricular involving Golf. He currently plays to a 12 handicap and plays at Pontefract District Golf Course where he has won 4 Junior Major Championships.
Education
Northfield
In 1996, Luke attended Northfield J, I & Nursery School ans started in Year 1. For his hard work over the years, he was selected among 5 other pupils to go on a trip to the Millennuim Dome in 2000; the year it opened. In year 6, Luke earned straight level 5's in all subjects.
Minsthorpe Community College
He then attended Minsthorpe Community College in 2002, staying there for five years. He achieved thirteen GCSE's A-C grade. (Including a National Diploma in ICT). These earned him a place in Leeds College of Technology where he has already earned five distinctions and two merits.
Leeds College of Technology
Luke now attends Leeds College of Technology where he studies a National Diploma in Computer Games Development. Achieving five distinctions after his first year, his hopes of getting into University are looking somewhat positive.

This is a new website which is currently under development owned by Luke. It is a website aimed to aid individuals with anything related to computing. Whether it's designing, programming, website coding or scripting. The website offers in-depth tutorials which is the main idea and method of presenting new techniques and help to people in need of such information. The website is also going to include a forum for further help. The main focus of the website is the designing area. All of the tutorials in the designing section are specific to Photoshop, due to it's high reputation and high standards.
