Cinemaniac and Greg Ford

Hey, WAVY 10!! Remember me? Well, way earlier in the year I had a short discussion with you about Daffy Duck's resurgence in popularity at Talk:Daffy Duck and Talk:Looney Tunes: Back in Action. More recently, you answered my query at Talk:The Bugs Bunny Show concerning recent plans to bring to show to TV again. I'm happy to say that I am now an official editor, and in need of your help. You seem to be interested in animation and its history; would you mind dropping by the Greg Ford article and improving it? I just created it a few days ago, and since it was the first page I created, it lacks footnotes and many sources. Any knowledge that you can impart into the article will be appreciated. Regards, Cinemaniac 00:58, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High School Musical 3

I apologize. There was no justification. I removed the wrong article. However, did you remove the article about the stars and Hudgens and Tisdale are signed on? It had 3 legitimate sources. The article said that the script is done and they are working on music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tennisboy1 (talkcontribs) 14:26, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recently, there's been a proposal by Agtaz to create a new article about the Looney Tunes television broadcast history; research and development are underway. Any comments? Suggestions? Ideas? You are welcome to post your thoughts here. Regards, Cinemaniac (talk) 03:38, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Glad you taking interest in this. Agtaz 00:23, 8 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Agtaz (talkcontribs)
Never mind, WAVY 10. Despite the fairly intense response initiated by the proposal, agreement has been reached: there will be no new individual article concerning the Looney Tunes television broadcast history. Ah, well—at least we tried. :) — Cinemaniac (talk) 02:03, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.

Hey, I just realized you are from the Tidewater area. Take care.--THE FOUNDERS INTENT TALK 00:11, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Happy New Year, WAVY 10! It's been a while since we last contacted each other; I thought I could ask for your help and advice, though. I've submitted two articles for peer review, and thought that you might like to critique them:

  • Duck Soup. I've listed this article for peer review because, even though I and other editors have contributed much information and references, I'm certain that there are other aspects of this classic film that have yet to be covered. I'd like to hear feedback from you, so that I can get help in improving this (and other Marx Brothers films) quality.
  • Princess Leia Organa. I've listed this article for peer review because it right now seems oddly cluttered and, despite a lot of references as of now, lacks reliable source citations. Although I've already requested another peer review, as long as it helps the articles get better, I've got the time. Comments and suggestions are appreciated, as this should help me in expanding other Star Wars-centric articles.

If you have the time, it'd be great if you could look over those two articles and assess their flaws and weaknesses. Thanks, and, again, a Happy New Year to you! — Cinemaniac (talkcontribs) 18:24, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

Over the past months, TV episodes have been reverted by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. --Maniwar (talk) 19:42, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not vandalizing

The Hannah Montana thing is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. There is no official evidence ONLINE about this, but there is in the real world, my local newspaper being an example. This is true and it is not vandalism. The only way it would be vandalism would be if I said opinion, like this is terrible, but I only used fact, that you need to learn. Research subliminal messages and backmasking and you will be surprised what you find, even here on Wikipedia. Tyar (talk) 14:08, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Anklepants, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. NewsCenter (news music)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article NewsCenter (news music), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of NewsCenter (news music). Re: John Hagee

I object to your assertion that including a reference to a legitimate interview of Hagee, done by a public television journalist, constitutes an "anti-Israel" POV. It is bringing balance into an article which does not once point out how the rest of the world, or even the rest of Christianity, views Hagee's message. As for my calling him a hatemonger and a lunatic - it's subjective, but also pretty much true. He endorses Israel's efforts to commit genocide against the Palestinian Arabs. This is unChristian, and just plain evil. I will revert the edit you made, removing my comments on his questionable sanity (not questionable to me, but anyway), and leave it at that. There's no reason why there can't be room in this subject for an opposing viewpoint. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.169.165.164 (talk) 03:17, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: John Hagee

Thanks. BTW, it would be informative to read the report/interview Moyers did with Hagee, as well as a related one done on Oct 5 of last year; Hagee's own words condemn him as a sponsor of genocide, and the contrast with the other guests and commentators, who all support real and lasting peace, is amazing. Transcripts and video clips are available for free on Moyers' PBS website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.169.165.164 (talk) 17:02, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Newscope 13

Where in the WAVY 25th special is this? I did see "Jim Kincaid's 13 Newshour" but I think that was only used for the 6pm newscast. Ntropolis (talk) 00:41, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean the part where they're talking about the increasing ratings and they show the short clips from WTKR and WVEC? That's where I saw "13 Newshour". I don't see "Newscope 13" anywhere in there. Ntropolis (talk) 23:24, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WAVY 10! It's been a while since we last communicated, so I thought I'd go ahead and ask for your assistance. I know that you're a Bugs Bunny fan—you've told me so. With that said, would you mind stopping by and expanding the new Bugs' Bonnets article I just created. It needs a lot more work, work that I might not be able to provide, given that I don't yet have the Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 5. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance! Am I the only one that thinks that she's gone too far? I mean, she implied that you and some other users are sockpuppets and she called me a "teenage mutant ninja vandal fighter." Please, I want an honest opinion, something needs to be done. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (talk) 23:33, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your Full House confusion

If you click the link for Wikipedia's own "sister-in-law" article, your confusion should be erased.

Your sister-in-law is one of your spouse's sister or your brother's wife.

Jesse, being Danny's sister's brother, is Danny's brother-in-law. However, Rebecca is only his brother-in-law's wife. Not his sister-in-law. Hence, she is a "sister-in-law by marriage". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.97.183.31 (talk) 18:26, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Was looking through the history for the WAVY-TV page and noticed you were the one who did the info on Kay Young leaving. Well imagine my surprise tonight when I saw her back on WAVY! Orphaned non-free media (Image:1989-92 NFL Today Logo.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:1989-92 NFL Today Logo.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:18, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:1989-92 NFL Today Logo.png}

Thank you for uploading Image:1989-92 NFL Today Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. That's So Raven & Cory in the House have never been shared the same hour together before because both of these shows have share the same hour with any other shows in the past except for back to back afternoons block when these shows air 2 episodes per hour. But Hannah Montana & The Suite Life of Zack and Cody shared the same hour titled "Suite Niblets Hour" Every Night at 7pm & 11pm ET. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.124.203.211 (talk) 16:55, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
