Note
  1. ^ Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Ciara is an American Grammy Award-winning singer. Her first album, Goodies, was released on September 28, 2004,[1] and three of its singles – "1, 2 Step", "Goodies", and "Oh" – reached the Billboard Hot 100.[2] The album has sold over two million copies in the United States,[3] and three million copies worldwide.[4] Ciara's second album, Ciara: The Evolution, was released on December 5, 2006.[5] The album's single, "Get Up", reached the Billboard Hot 100, while three other singles from the album – "Promise", "Like a Boy", and "Can't Leave 'em Alone" – broke the top ten on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.[2] The album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America five weeks after its release,[6] and sold over 300,000 copies in its first week.[7] Ciara's third studio album, Fantasy Ride, will be released in December 2008,[8] and its first single, "Go Girl", was released on September 4, 2008.[9]
