save_us websites

The quote "The campaign also spread over the internet with websites also featuring hidden messages and biblical links hinting Jericho's return." from the article is false. Those sites were fan made, and have no official connection to WWE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.18.66.137 (talk) 21:54, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Check the sources. The sites are registered to Joseph Perkins, a President/Communications Consultant for WWE [1]-- bulletproof 3:16 19:58, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WWE counts win over Steve Austin as two seperate title reigns?

From Chris Jericho's title history on WWE.com

"WWE Championship (1 Time) def. Stone Cold, Dec. 9, 2001*

Undisputed World Championship (1 Time) def. Stone Cold … also def. The Rock … Dec. 9, 2001*

  • Unification Match"

I don't know if this should be added to the wiki, but it seems that the WWE sees Jericho's victory as two seperate reigns: one as a WWE title reign, and one as a Undisputed title reign. I thought I would just let this could be (un)important information known. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.78.135.152 (talk) 02:02, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Basically, imagine that when he won the World (WCW) Title a second time, it was a few weeks earlier. Then they announced a unification match, and Jericho wins the WWF title, unifying the two. It's basically that, except that the two victories occured about twenty or so minutes apart. Mshake3 (talk) 02:21, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have not made any changes, but i disagree with the assertion that he is a four-time champion. For certain, he is a 2-time WCW Champion, a 1-time Undisputed Champion, and a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion. But I don't believe that if you hold one world title and win another, you can become MORE of a heavywieght champion or a heavyweight champion again. He had one world title, then won another, but he remained a world title holder the entire time, thus one title reign. Unification should not be viewed two seperate reigns. When the European and intercontinental titles were merged, it was not counted as two title reigns. WikiHistoryEditorGuy (talk) 05:34, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, that conversation is ten months old. The issue was resolved a long time ago. Darrenhusted (talk) 09:45, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Break from wrestling section

A lot of this section is simply long-ago rumors of whether Jericho was or was not thinking of returning or not, and to which company. There's little to no factual information in there and I think that most of it should be excised. Tnova4 (talk) 04:56, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I merged a little bit of it into the section before it and removed the rest. Nikki311 05:14, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Finisher

Could someone add his new finisher, it's called the codebreaker. thanks 89.100.191.27 (talk) 03:20, 27 November 2007 (UTC)E-To-The-Izzo[reply]

I don't think it's actually been confirmed as his new finisher, nothing was said, any confirmation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sepmix (talkcontribs) 15:59, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ross and Lawler referred to it as The Code Breaker so I'm guessing that's his new finisher's name. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:51, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He used the liontamer last MONDAY RAW but not in a match but at the end fighting againist "RKO" Randy Orton, can it cant as finisher on the page SocialistRevolution 20:27, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, he never really locked it in, and there hasn't really been any confirmation on whether or not he's going to use it as a finisher. I think we should wait a while to see what he does with the Lion Tamer before we add it to the article. Anonymous~Source 21:06, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nicknames

I think the nickname list is just way too long. Most of those listed are not actual nicknames, just taunts, or lines he has said while cutting promos. The man of 1004 holds was only used as a taunt against Malenko, the man of 1000 holds, and should not be used as in an encylopedic lift of his nicknames. I think it needs to be trimmed. Any opinions?LessThanClippers (talk) 18:41, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, there is a discussion regarding this going on right now at WPT:PW (near the bottom of the page), and we would love anybody's input into the matter. Nikki311 19:51, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously, this constant reverting really means one thing. We should set a policy on nickname lists. I still argue that man of 1004 holds wasnt an actual nickname. IMHO someone else has to call you it to be a nickname, otherwise, in the words of Jim Rome, its just self glossing.--LessThanClippers (talk) 04:23, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trainers

In Jericho's book, he clearly that Keith Hart showed up to the school on the first day, put Jericho in a single hold, and then left. Does he really belong as a trainer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Travisfs120 (talkcontribs) 20:42, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, Stu Hart didn't train him either. (me) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.178.165.165 (talk) 11:05, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Dating Game

Should it be noted that Chris, Billy Kidman, and Disco Inferno were on the dating game a few years back? heres the proof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQ8tey30wAU —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.208.247.160 (talk) 01:18, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

chris jericho sucks his momma"s dick

Headline text

He won the title for the 8th time and won it in the same place he lost it in 2004

It's already been noted that he won the title for a record 8th time.  Hazardous Matt  21:10, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated

The last mention of his career is his IC championship victory. I think it should be updated to include his money in the bank ladder match appearance at WM and (not sure about this, though) his current involvement in a feud with Michaels / Batista (or should that be left for after Backlash?)Vicius (talk) 03:44, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fozzy Name Misspelling

For some reason someone has changed the spelling of "Moongoose McQueen" to "Mongoose McQueen". This is incorrect. His name was Moongoose, not mongoose. - PHX606

Edit: I guess no-one gives a damn that there is inaccurate information on this page. Seeing as you are ignoring my comment. - PHX606

Fixed, good catch. Sorry for the delay. Not everyone has this page on their watchlist. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 15:29, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's fine. Thanks for fixing it. - PHX606

save_me.222

I noticed at the WWE Draft 2008 episode of Raw his TitanTron movie was not save_us.222 but save_me.222. This is because last week Jericho said that he has had enough saving the fans and is only going to save himself from now on. I don't know if this should be mentioned in the article or not. wwesockssign 03:42, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Liontamer/Walls of Jericho

CJ uses , at all, 3 variations of the boston crab, the original, the elevated (which he remains sanding) and the elevated with knee to the back (Liontamer), the last one he uses in WWF/WWE, There's a match vs. Paul London in WWE where he made Paul London tap out by the Liontamer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BrunoXico2345 (talkcontribs) 14:31, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life - Missing Tooth
