32GB MicrSD card support?

I did not hear this mentioned in the video reference #12. Am I missing something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deeek (talkcontribs) 02:44, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I thought that was a dubious claim, but I never verified it myself. I have heard it mentioned from the google devs, but that doesn't count as a verifiable source. Until we get some confirmation about this, I'm tossing that point. Chaldor (talk) 18:37, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like 16GB MicroSD cards are supported after all.

Photo?

A photo of the HTC Dream is needed. I tagged the article reqphoto.N2e (talk) 01:42, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The request was filled, removing tag. Gh5046 (talk) 00:44, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GPS

does this phone have GPS? —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheMissileSilo (talkcontribs) 00:47, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The official HTC specs page[1] says it does. -- Bovineone (talk) 20:53, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wifi?

No wifi feature listed? According to http://t-mobileg1.com/g1-learn-features-details.aspx there is wifi. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.126.201.121 (talk) 01:47, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This: http://www.htc.com/www/product/g1/specification.html also says it has WiFi, I'm adding it. DtD (talk) 19:09, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

International release dates?

anyone know? --UltraMagnus (talk) 11:42, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

T-Mobile?

Surely T-Mobile shouldn't be included in the article name, as the G1 will be on other networks (such as O2 in the UK). --Beeurd (talk) 20:45, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The T-Mobile Wing also has the name included, but the Hera has been offered on other networks with slightly different configurations. I think the same thing will happen here. Century (talk) 21:26, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Eh? The HTC P4350 article is called that, not T-Mobile Wing which redirects to HTC P4350 Nil Einne (talk) 14:20, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In any case, I reverted the move which didn't follow normal procedure. Nil Einne (talk) 14:24, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the other HTC phone pages are named after the HTC model name, and then the list of mobile networks with their rebranded model names are listed in prose form. See for example HTC_Excalibur ("T-Mobile Dash", "BT ToGo", "O2 Xda Cosmo", etc). -- Bovineone (talk) 20:53, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is the G1 "tethered" to the T-Mobile network (the way the iPhone is tethered to AT&T)? I.e., if I buy a G1 from T-Mobile, can I use it on other (US) networks?

CPU

The CPU states hardware acceleration for Java in the page, true Dalvik VM is different from the Java VM but in reality the Java and Dalvik VMs use many of the same details and Dalvik would likely be accelerated as well as Java. Does anyone have any reason this would not work? If not then I'm going to change the CPU section back to stating acceleration. Nikkelitous (talk) 15:03, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
