Sarah Graiman (Deanna Russo), a Stanford University Professor and daughter of Dr. Charles Graiman (Bruce Davison), is contacted by a mysterious talking car named KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) who saves her from a kidnapping. The high-tech vehicle informs her that it was made by her father who has disappeared and the two seek out her childhood friend and former flame, ex-Army special forces soldier Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening) for help. Initially hesitant to get involved, Tracer joins Sarah and KITT in the search for Dr. Graiman and to find out who is trying to get their hands on the supercar. Along the way, Tracer encounters Carrie Rivai (Sydney Tamiia Poitier), a young and agile FBI agent and friend of Dr. Graiman. Tracer soon learns his father was Michael Knight, who was the operator of another supercar designed by Dr. Graiman 25-years earlier. |
