Miyapur (Template:Lang-te) is a fast developing suburb of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located in Serilingampally municipality, surrounded by Madhapur, Kukatpally, Bachupally and BHEL suburbs.
It is mainly a residential area for people working in IT companies at Madhapur and Gachibowli and the industrial estate at IDA Bollarum near Mallampet/Bowrampet).
It is well connected by road (NH9 - The Hyderbad to Pune Highway List of National Highways in India (by Highway Number), List of National Highways in India, Indian Highways) and rail (MMTS Trains - Hafeezpet).
Commercial area
There are many shops and malls catering to all the needs of the people. This place has some good movie theaters and restaurants.
There is a big furniture shop at the cross roads called as Tresor (earlier it was named Khazana).
DTDC Courier has biggest and oldest branch here.
Transport
Miyapur's closest MMTS train station is at Hafeezpet, hence more and more people are opting to live in this upmarket locality.
The state-owned APSRTC runs the city bus service, connecting to all the major parts of the city.
Miyapur is developing into an area and of its develpoments and its progress from past 5 years. The demand has gone up after the Metro Rail is sanctioned, because of its connectivity to the city center.
The 100-acre Metro rail station and commercial complex will be developed by Maytas consortium.
Schools
There are many schools in the area like Indo English High School etc.
