Rajesh Touchriver (born 1972) is an Indian film director. Rajesh is rated as the greatest movie maker not only in India but also all over the world. All his movies turned out to be mega hits or super hits. With a Masters in Visual Language / Scenography and Direction from the Wimbledon School of Art, London UK in 2001-2002, Degree in Design & Direction from School of Drama, Kerala;1992, Dip. in Animation Film Making from ZICA, 1996.

Multiple Award winning director Rajesh Touchriver has made films in all genres and all languages including music videos, ad films, short films, commercials, public service announcements, documentaries for social causes and feature films. His latest film for the United Nations 'One Life, No Price' won international acclaim.This film also stars Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Preity Zinta. This film has been widely acclaimed by civil society organizations across the world.

Touchriver had some early training in Kathakali and Kalarippayattu, the traditional art forms of Kerala. He worked with the National School of Drama repertory company in New Delhi as designer in 1995. Rajesh has directed about 30 plays in different languages. He has done the art direction of a number of Telugu, Bollywood and Hollywood movies.

Unlike most film-makers, he chose to make documentaries for social causes, which could be used for mass viewing. Human trafficking, communal riots, sheikh marriages, HIV/AIDS and care for the HIV positive are some of the issues that Touchriver has made films on. All his films have been widely acclaimed for their sensitive portrayal of issues.

In the Name of Buddha, based on the Sri Lankan civil war, is Rajesh Touchriver's debut film as director and screenplay writer. The film won critical acclaim and many awards. Alex & 10 the strangers are the other feature films
