Spencer Pratt (born August 14, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) is a Reality-TV personality known for his role on MTV's The Hills. He is well-known as the boyfriend of Heidi Montag. He is the brother of Stephanie Pratt, who also appears on The Hills. He attended Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, California. Pratt was also in the short-lived series The Princes of Malibu with Brody Jenner, along with Brody's brother, Brandon. On August 16, 2007, Ryan Seacrest premiered Heidi Montag's song, "Body Language", featuring Pratt rapping, on KIIS-FM radio show. Both Montag and Pratt denied the song was her intended first single with Pratt telling US Weekly that the tune "was a song Heidi and I were doing for fun. Never would I rap on her first single!"[1]Pratt and Montag prenteded to elope on November 20, 2008 to Mexico, although it was later determined that this "marriage" was not recognized by U.S. authorities. David Letterman Appearance

On June 14, 2008, Pratt appeared on David Letterman. Letterman joked with Pratt about how he came to be on the Hills. "How'd you get on this show, as a matter of fact?", joked Letterman. After Pratt claimed to "not even show up" for less than $100,000 per appearance, Letterman and the audience laughed. The theme of the interview surrounded what Pratt actually does and poked fun at his obvious lack of fame amongst David and his audience. Near the end of the interview Heidi Montag comes from behind the scenes and tells Letterman that Pratt "is the man", to which Letterman responded "Uh, for what?". [3]
