Cleanup...

Removed the following parapraph, which was the entire article.

spm was supposedly have grown up in the ghettos of south park houston. Before his rise to fame he got into an argument with some tough guys that smoked everyday. His cousins juan and elvis backed him up. He is in jail because he supposedly raped a young girl. Nobody nows how true that really is. he has been accused of some things that he didnt do so why beleive this. All his fans supported him. He even released a cd while incarcerated. It was called when devils strike. It got national attencion everywhere. He is still fighting for another court date. A man named sergio like the cd so much he gave it a good rating. His favorite song was a classic named something about mary. He was also reported to have starred in blood in blood out 2: Miklo comes to texas. It was about miklo finding the girl of his dreams, mary jane.Hes has a #1 fan her name its Cynthia.G. she has everything about S.P.M

The editor who contributed the proceeding paragraph must strive to contribute articles of higher quality, including usage of correct syntax and diction, as well as avioding embarrassing misspellings. (Attencion)

I don't plan on writing a lenghty article on SPM, but until another editor steps up and contributes a quality biography, it's almost better to have no SPM article at all than to have what was here previously. Chairman Sharif 18:39, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your work Chairman. SPM has been an article with constant problems. The previous version was subject to much vandalism and recently was deleted due to copyright infringement. I agree, no article would have been better than the gibberish that graced this page earlier today. I hope someone with some knowledge (and sources) can write a NPOV article about him, but I wouldn't hold my breath. In the meantime, I have added the {{hiphop-bio-stub}} tag. -HumanZoom 19:22, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I couldn't leave well enough alone, lol. I went ahead and added a couple of links, a reference, a picture, and the musician template for background information. Hopefully, this will get the article started in the right direction. -HumanZoom 19:46, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Great stuff, Zoom, thanks! Chairman Sharif 19:50, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well I didn't have a problem with this article. But there is one problem that I did see...um what year was he really born on. It's written as 1970 and then under his picture it's written as 1971. But other than that this was some good writing and even though I don't really know about this guy very much my boyfriend does and it's really hard to make judgements on this fellow but I know that middle school girls and even high school girls did look a lot older at that time. I was one of them. And it's a shame that, from what I read, it doesn't look very fucking good like he got a fair trial. But to those who did down play this article I don't think that the writter was trying to make him look bad at all. He was telling his story and in my opinion I thought it was very educational for my Mexican community. He tried to get out but like always jealousy gets the best of every situation. Women can be very vindictive and envious especially if you are doing better than them. But those girls and their mothers if they did put them up to it, will get their karma if they were lying. It always come back 3 folds. Mikkey — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikkey76 (talkcontribs)

Let's Get On Subject

Don't get me wrong I like SPM and I do believe that he is unjustly in prison, not the little girl's fault but due to Coy's extended family that is getting revenge on him for not sharing in his success, but Wikipedia is not a discussion board it is an online information source so unless we have relevent verifiable info to add on this article, let's keep the Free SPM quotes off this website and talk about it elsewhere. 70.132.144.198 (talk) 03:12, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sexual Conviction and censoring

Let me remind our fellow anonymous editors (who seem to be the ones doing this) that Wikipedia is NOT censored. We do not take sides and removing information about his sexual conviction, child molestations, or adding things like "free SPM", "there was no evidence", "it's fake", "it's not true", "he's innocent", or other additions to censor or deform the information will be reverted. The sources and citations document this information, and it is our responsibility to bring facts, not childish beliefs or support denials. Thank you. ←Signed:→Mr. E. I have one problem with this article. Why not just have it say "Carlos Coy, better known by his stage name South Park Mexican, is a Houston-based rapper. His stage name is derived from the South Park neighborhood in Houston, Texas where he was raised." or something similar to that? I see no need for him to be label a child molester off the quick description at the top of the page. The article goes on to have a section where it talks about the case and incarceration anyhow. You don't see Michael Jackson's page saying "Michael Joseph Jackson (born August 29, 1958) is an American recording artist, entertainer, businessman, and child abuser." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.60.145.180 (talk) 11:15, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because Micheal Jackson has not been convicted. Also, he is arguably more well known for his molestation arrest than his music, as his music career is mostly local. Nar Matteru (talk) 15:42, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why was his picture taken off?

I didn't see any problem with it.
