Total Clean Fútbol Club, is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Arequipa. They were promoted to the Primera División Peruana following their Copa Perú 2006 title under their former name. They defeated Hijos de Acosvinchos 2-0, with Emanuel Chifon Brais scoring both goals.
The club was created in 2003 by a local laundry of Arequipa. The laundry is also called Total Clean. At first, the team was only made up of employees and owners of the laundry. However, when the team reached a more competitive level, the owner of the laundry, Felix Enciso, scouted the Arequipean league to find more competitive players. His efforts were rewarded with the club playing in the Peruvian First Division. They were relegated from the First Division in 2007.
Total Clean's local rivals are fellow Laundramats 'Daz', who both compete for business on the same peruvian street, Cleaner Close. On 22nd March, 2008, a match which has been dubbed "The Clash of Cleaner Close" took place. The game had to be abandoned due to awful conditions when the whole pitch was covered by washing powder after the match descended into a 100-man brawl, including coaches, players, including the reserve and youth players, and even the officials. Dirty Laundry was most certainly aired out during the infamous brawl. Owner Felix Enciso was even gt involved in a brawl with a fan. The whole incident was frowned upon by the Peruvian F.A, who fined Total Clean 25,000 Nuevo Soles ($8,500) and a year's worth of free laundry service.
On 7th January 2009, Total Clean bought Miguel Mossto for an undisclosed fee from English football club Barnsley. It is believed he will also deliver clean clothes to the customers of the Laundrette.
On 10th January they were linked with Michael Marks of MGR.
