Frank Iero

Frank Anthony Iero (born October 31, 1981) is the rhythm guitarist, backup vocalist and a member of the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance. He was born in Belleville, New Jersey and attended Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington.. When growing up his parents divorced, but he still regards his father as a big influence to him. Frank went to a catholic school and got bullied in high school. He then carried on to go to Rutgers University on a scholarship, but ended up dropping out to join My Chemical Romance. Frank is the youngest member in My Chemical Romance and was recruited by them when they decided they needed another guitar player to join Ray Toro.

He is also the frontman of post-hardcore quintet LeATHERMOUTH. In addition to his band Pencey Prep, Iero also played with the bands Hybrid, Sector 12, I Am Graveyard, and briefly with Give Up the Ghost. He is also involved in a tribute band to The Cure, named The Love Cats, after the song of the same name, and recently played bass with Reggie And The Full Effect on the "farewell tour".

Iero was the co-founder of record company/clothing label Skeleton Crew.

Frank is also know for his many tattoos that include the word "HALLOWEEN" spelled on both hands fingers, a Jack-O-Lantern on his back, the words "Keep the Faith" on his upper back, the letters "NJ" (meaning New Jersey) on the inside of his lip, "I wish I were a ghost" around his right wrist, a dove on his lower left chest, an anchor on the lower part of his right bicep and the letters "N" and "J" on either side, and a scorpion on the high side of his neck on the rigth side, so he could no longer be employed in an office.

He won 2008 World's Sexiest Vegetarian along with Alyssa Milano.
