Growing Up Creepie is an animated television series made by Mike Young Productions and produced by Discovery Kids. In other countries the series is simply titled Creepie.

Premise

As told in opening introduction and in the episode Creepie Crawling, Creepie was a waif left on doorstep of the Dweezwold Mansion. Which is home to a family of various insects. The family take her in and raise her as one of their own. However, she must now adjust to a life surrounded by a society of insectophobic humans as she attends Middlington Middle School and keeps her home life secret in order to protect both herself and her family.

Music

The theme song "Creepie Kids" and other songs featured throughout the first series are performed by Samantha Lombardi. They are written by Lombardi, Clarence Jey / Mike Puskas, and produced by Clarence Jey / Mike Puskas. "Creepie Kids" was released of Lombardi's album Full Stop in 2007.

The theme song of the French version are performed by Lisa. The music is composed by Laurent Boutonnat (director of the French movie Jacquou le Croquant) and the lyrics are written by the most popular French female singer Mylène Farmer (performer of a song from the US movie Rugrats in Paris called L'Histoire d'une fée, c'est...).

DVD release

A DVD of Growing Up Creepie was released for Region 1 on August 28, 2007. The single disc volume is titled Creepie's Creatures Volume 1 and features seven episodes, mainly from the second season. Bonus features includes Creepie's Buggin' Trivia Game and an episode of Corwin Unleashed entitled "Creepy Creatures."
