Empire High School, Tucson, Arizona, USA, is one of the first public high schools to use all-wireless laptop technology, and fully digital (no textbooks) curriculum resources. It is a part of the Vail School District.
Empire opened for student use in July 2005. The first year to have students graduate will be 2007, and the class of 2009 will be the first fully graduating class. The school has around 700 students.
The class of 2012 received MacBooks rather than the iBook G4 because Mac does not make them anymore. The newest freshmen class is the largest class in the school's history, with over 250 students.
Empire's mascot is a raven, and their colors are red, Purple, and black. The high school competes at the 7A level in athletics. The school also features more than a dozen student clubs.
