Heya

I see that you're online; ready to begin? :) --Dylan620 Efforts · Toolbox 18:37, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great! :D Before we get ready for real, I'd like to ask to questions that I ask my new wiki-adoptees. To reply to each one, place {{tick}} next to the letter "A" to say "yes," and place {{cross}} next to the letter "A" to say "no":
Q1: Are you interested in becoming an administrator someday?
A:
Q2: Are you interested in...
...fighting vandalism?

...working on articles?
A:
...learning about HTML?
A:
...various administrative tasks?
A:
...anything else I forgot to mention?

For a long time I've had trouble focusing on working on articles (I prefer to be a wikignome), but I guess I could try to help you get started. Maybe we could expand an article on a song by the band Bush? They have plenty of hit songs that are stubs (short articles), such as "Machinehead," "Everything Zen," and "Comedown." --Dylan620 Efforts · Toolbox 19:15, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll search for sources for "Everything Zen" later on, once I'm back on the computer (I'm editing from the Wii right now, that's why I'm using this alternate account). For now, I'll just stick to patrolling the recent changes for vandalism to revert. --Dylan620 3 My master 13:45, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
