Vagabundo is a concept album by Robi Dräco Rosa. It was recorded in Surrey, England under the creative direction of Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera. The music video for Madre Tierra was directed by Angela Alvarado and won Best Rock Video in the 1997 Latin Music Awards. The album was also included in Spin Magazine’s 1997 Top 10 list of greatest Latin Rock records of all time.

Musical Characteristics

Vagabundo resembles the same psychedelic maneuvers infused by Jimi Hendrix's spiritual guitar meltdown during the process of recording Electric Ladyland and the LSD fueled ghost manifestations of a (post) Magical Mystery Tour before hitting bottom hell against Miles Davis' acid jazz experiments of 1975. Dräco Rosa's wrecked mental situation during this period also engendered his collective persuasion of a post-apocalyptic world very similar to what David Bowie achieved during the completion of Diamond Dogs between 1973 and 1974.
