Hello, welcome to my talk page!

  • If you want to leave a message, please do it at the bottom as a new section, for better formatting. You can do that by simply pressing the plus sign (+) or "new section" on the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~.
  • I prefer to keep discussions unfragmented. So if you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page–my talk page–as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere. (I will break this rule sometime, if I want to get your attention quickly)
  • I am busy in real life and may not respond swiftly to queries.
  • If I have reviewed an FLC for you, I have watchlisted the page, and will return within a reasonable time to Support, Oppose, or otherwise address your nomination. Reminders are unnecessary. Thanks.
Please sign by adding ~~~~ at the end of your message when you post here. Thanks.

2008 NBA Draft - "Notable Undrafted"

Hey- Not interested in getting into an edit war, but this section exists on most of the other NBA Draft pages. It also isn't actually subjective since it denotes that those listed earned a "full year contract during the following season." Just trying to make the page consistent with previous years. Quadruple-double

Excellent revision to the Quadruple-double article. I was just thinking how much better the near misses would look as a table, and you made the changes before I got a chance to. Nicely done! —C.Fred (talk) 02:34, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, could you revisit to check if your oppose still stands? The nominator has added several new awards to the list. Dabomb87 (talk) 13:47, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I noticed you commented on the FLC I nominated. Do you also feel this list I worked on should be merged, because this one seems more independent of the article then the one I submitted today was. Thank you for reading (and hopefully responding :D) Hello32020 (talk) 22:29, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh wait, you didn't even comment on the FLC XD Well could you respond anyway. Hello32020 (talk) 22:31, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And...you did...Chris was you...oops :D Hello32020 (talk) 22:32, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rick Barry

The best I can find is this, which confirms that he had 30 points and 9 steals. Do you have a San Francisco public library card? You can access the San Francisco Chronicle's archives here; that should at least get you a box score. Zagalejo^^^ 22:34, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't own Basketball for Dummies, but I can get a preview of the page at Amazon.com. It only mentions Debbie Black. Zagalejo^^^ 01:28, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Phelps, Richard. (1999). Basketball for Dummies (2nd ed.) For Dummies. p. 60. ISBN 0764552481.

No problem. I was so astonished that someone had actually completed a quintuple-double, especially on the collegiate level, that I was intrigued enough to read the story (good thing I did, I suppose). But don't worry about it, anyone who contributes regularly to Wikipedia like you and me will inevitably breeze through a source without studying it carefully and then screw up a fact or two. Great job on the Double (basketball) page though, it looks amazing. Jrcla2 21:09, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TV Interview

Dear Chrishomingtang,

I am trying to locate contributors to Wikipedia who live in San Francisco and might be available for an on-camera TV interview next Thursday (6/25) about Wikipedia and what motivates you to contribute to Wikipedia. If you are interested please let me know. I am also looking for other Wikipedia contributors in San Francisco who would potentially be interested in doing this if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.
