BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn is an upcoming direct-to-DVD film based on the LEGO BIONICLE toys. It is slated for a September 15,2009 release in the United States.

The film will star Michael Dorn as the voice of Mata Nui.

Synopsis

Stripped of his power and hurtled from his universe, Mata Nui finds himself on a barren world. Society is split into tribes who have lost the ability to create, and who settle all of their disputes in gladiatorial matches. Joining these games, Mata Nui begins to recruit other gladiators as he searches for clues as to how to reclaim his lost empire. But finding answers means challenging the most powerful and most evil of the tribes... and leads to the shattering revelation that his entire world is not what it seems.
