Lemmings (National Lampoon)
National Lampoon's Lemmings, a spinoff of the humor magazine National Lampoon, was a 1973 stage show helped launch the careers of comedians including John Belushi, Christopher Guest, and Chevy Chase.[1] [2]
The play was a parody of Woodstock, featuring exaggerated or humorous versions of many well-known performances from that festival, such as Joe Cocker, James Taylor and Joan Baez, as well as parodies of Bob Dylan and a variety of fictional groups (e.g. the "Motown Manifestoes" singing Papa was a Running Dog Lackey of the Bourgeousie).
