Blake[bold] (contemporary figurative sculptor)
The artist Blake is a contemporary figurative sculptor with a studio in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
Blake Biography
Blake was born Blake William Ward in Yellowknife, North West Territories, Canada on June 3 1956 and raised in Edmonton. He received an Honours Degree in Fine Art from the University of Alberta in 1979. In 1985, he moved to Paris to study figurative sculpture. In 1991, Blake moved to Monaco and opened the Monte-Carlo studio.
Blake Art and method
Blake works in clay with live models to produce limited edition bronze and marble sculptures. The sculptures are cast or carved in Italy.[1]
