Alfonso VI of Leon gives Portugal to his son-in-law Henry of Chalon.

How can this be, as in 1093 he had given the second County of Portugal to his nephew-in-law Henry of Burgundy as dowry for his marriage to his illegitimate daughter Theresa, the title undisputed even after Henry's death in 1112? Maybe Henry did come from Chalon (I'm neither a historian nor have access to such obscure documents), but even if so, the date is still wrong; therefore pending further evidence, I'm deleting this entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maegil (talkcontribs) 12:18, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
