Hoher Göll
The Hoher Göll is a mountain in the Berchtesgaden Alps. At 2,522 metres (8,274 feet), it is the highest peak of the Göll massif, which straddles the border between the German state of Bavaria and the Austrian state of Salzburg. This photograph shows the Hoher Göll (left) and the Hohes Brett (right) from the west.Photograph credit: Jörg Braukmamm

Hi, Why was it deleted? I am new to this and would appreciate some answers instead of having my work simply removed. My source cam straight from Justin's blog and Justin Kreutzmann himself who is my friend. Please get back to me. Catherine

This Day is real. There is no need to delete this. Email me at saucyintruders@gmail.com and i will respond and give you a real HLS email adress to talk to me at.

Hi, I noticed that you deleted Brian Brolly as "CSD A7". However the article clearly states that he founded Classic FM and he's a former CEO of Really Useful. He isn't even remotely speedy material. I've undeleted and wikified it. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 12:19, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This one was speedied as CSD A7 despite a reference to his being author of a published book. The book was reviewed in Publisher's Weekly and Booklist, so it definitely isn't an A7. I've undeleted. Please list on AfD if you think it should be deleted. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 11:52, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

new schools article

Hi I recently finished editting Scotch College and was wondering if you could check it for mistakes etc. I based it around your Caulfield Grammar School article so I thought you would be the best person for the job. Hamedog 14:01, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey I fixed your suggestions. Can you check it for clearity etc. Hamedog 02:15, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is probably a bother, but could you please take another look at the Céline Dion article. Ive taken the comments at the last FA and have tried to address them: Ive found many print sources, about 4 Books, more authoritative reviews:New york Times, Billboard.com, Los Angeles Times etc. Ive addressed her music, changes in sounds/genres, motivation etc. at the end of each sub-section, and Ive also added a "Image and Celebrity status" section at the bottom. Ive sent it to peer review for two days, but no reply. Comments would be appreciated. Thanks. Oran e (t) (c) (e-mail) 02:23, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a bunch. Ive also thought about omitting the 3rd paragraph altogether: it sounds better without it. What do u think? Oran e (t) (c) (e-mail) 02:46, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Scotch College, Perth

This article is improving, and well done on what you have achieved thus far. Before it becomes featured at the Schools Portal - and it's very close - I'd look to see a couple more sections just fleshed out a bit more. On a related note, any chance of a picture or two of the school? Currently, there's the school logo, and then the school logo in a blurry blazer pic. Keep up the good work though! Harro5 03:18, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

In my view, to expand: History, Academics, Senior school academics, Moray, The Arts, and any more alumni you can think of that have Wikipedia articles. Have a look at either Caulfield Grammar School or Hopkins School, in my view the two best school article, and see how no section is really too small. That's what the aim is. Harro5 03:26, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
I have expanded the sections. Could you please check the article for errors? I will attempt to get some photos on Friday. Hamedog 15:34, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, i have expanded the sections. What do u think? Hamedog 02:12, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I have now added images, what do you think of the article? Good enough to be featured on the school portal? Hamedog 01:46, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The West Wing is now FA

Thanks to your comments and constructive criticism, The West Wing has now reached featured article status. Thank you again so much for your input! -Scm83x 05:15, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for the showcase article status on the PSHS article! I am very proud of the article, considering how little reference material I've had to go on. When I go home for break, I intend to add to the article using references from the local libraries (which have a certain book about the history of the school district) and take a few pictures of the school. What suggestions do you have for the article? How can I improve it other than images and references? Thanks so much again!! -Scm83x 07:13, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for the advice, here's what I plan to do, if you are interested:
  • any more notable graduates - still need to put a call into the school to see about this. It will be easier when I'm actually in Plano.
  • the history section is a little bare - I will beef this up with information from the references in the Plano Public Libraries
  • some more info on academics - This is easily done. I'll take care of it when I'm done with exams!
  • if US public schools have fees - Plano is a free public school (Yay!)
  • add a heading to the football table - This need to be converted to a better table format anyways, and I will add a header when I make that change.
Thank you so much! When I make all these changes sometime over break, I will let you know and look forward to your input! -Scm83x 07:28, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • I made the change to the table and I was wondering if you had any idea how to add more spacing around a table using wikitable style. If you do, you can go ahead and add it to the page. Otherwise, maybe you can point me somewhere I can find more information, considering Help:Table isn't really all that helpful... Thanks! -Scm83x 05:09, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I noticed you have reverted my change of tag to speedy deletion. The page is empty, doesn't that qualify it to be speedy-deleted? Just a thought. Good day. -- Eagleamn 07:26, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • The {{deletedpage}} tag is a notice to the anons creating this article that they shouldn't do it again. The article has been speedied or AfD deleted a few times, and so this is sometimes useful way of getting the point across that we don't want that article. Harro5 07:46, 15 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like some discussion re Melbourne is in order.. ;)

Hey there. Just noticed a semi-revert of the Melbourne article that you just performed. I disagree with the parliament building image being there if you're prepared to remove so many others. Why is it more relevent than any of the other (higher quality in both aesthetics and image quality) photos of Melbourne landmarks? Diliff | (Talk) (Contribs) 22:14, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You speedied this article, and replaced it with {{deletedpage}}, but did not protect it. Was that your intent? (Seeing as {{deletedpage}} categorises into Category:Protected deleted pages...) Jamie (talk/contribs) 09:29, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

G'day mate. Bored in the footy off-season? Check out Wikipedia:WikiProject AFL and add your knowledge of AFL footy to this site. Add your name to the list of participants, drop us a line on my User Talk page and I'll see ya there. There is an absolute shitload of stuff you can add, AFL Hall of Fame, an extensive list of player profiles, NAB Cup, AFL Draft, past club rosters etc etc etc. Check it all out at WikiProject AFL. Look forward to it, Rogerthat 04:48, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Pages

Harro5,

This is Peter Trevino (User:PeterGay).

If I understand the message correctly you deleted my web pages because they were considered "selfpromotion." Yes, it was my book I was writing a Wikipedia contribution page about; but would it have been different if somebody else had submitted the page instead of me?

The book "The Gay Ghost" has been published (http://www.thegayghost.com) and I thought that was a justifiable reason to place a contribution page in Wikipedia. If this is not the case, please let me know.

I never meant to override the rules and regulations of Wikipedia. But if I did I assure you it was unintentional. I still think that as a published author my book deserves a place in Wikipedia. But if I am wrong I would appreciate if you'd let me know at PedroGay@aol.com

Thank you for any help you can give me,

Peter Trevino New York

Afl-bio-stub

G'day mate, noticed you're going through all the player pages and changing them from afl-stub to afl-bio-stub. Let people who don't know about football take care of that, focus instead on creating new player articles. cheers, Rogerthat 22:19, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

malo's RfA

Thank you!
Thank you!
Harro5, thanks for your support on my RFA. I was rather suprised at the overwhelming support I received. Thank you for your confidence in me. I hope that I'll live up to your expectations in the future as well. Also I'd like to thank you for the laugh of the last second, (wait for it) vote, despite the fact you already voted once before in the rfa :) -- malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 04:58, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was in the midst of creating an article on "IYFM" and it was deleted.

It was actually incomplete. Could you tell me why you deleted it.

Thanks.
