KB Hallen

K.B. Hallen is a concert hall and sports centre in Copenhagen, Denmark.

K.B. Hallen is named after Københavns Boldklub, Copenhagen's first ball-playing club, which was established in 1876. It is used primarily for handball, badminton and tennis, but also hosts other events, including dance tournaments and flea markets.[1]

As a concert hall, K.B. Hallen holds a capacity of 3,000 persons, and is often the scene of rock and pop concerts. The venue has played host to many famous bands and artistons, including Iron Maiden, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Josephine Baker, Laurel and Hardy, The Beatles (1964), Bob Dylan (1966), The Rolling Stones (1966), Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Who, Frank Zappa, The Black Crowes, My Chemical Romance(2007) Avril Lavigne, Slipknot, Kelly Clarkson, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds(2008).
