Would you kindly run the bot on our project again.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 14:19, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, will try to do so tonight or tomorrow this week. Here's a preview. –xenotalk 15:43, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Updated ETC. –xenotalk 22:38, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well... Sometime this month! =) –xenotalk 14:03, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for jumping in on my talk page to help with all of the rabid fans. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:50, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I found nothing in Google News that would prop her up at this time... –xenotalk 18:51, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Things seem to have settle down now. Or perhaps the big red boxes helped. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:02, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well she started tweeting about other stuff (yes, I shamelessly followed her), so her legion of loyal followers probably lost interest in the "Wiki-Fight" as she calls it =) –xenotalk 21:10, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't follow her (my account's now gotten dusty), but I did bookmark her to keep an eye on her. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 21:12, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'll probably unfollow her shortly (as I do anyone who tweets too often) - I just wanted to follow the ongoing saga. –xenotalk 21:14, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Her loyal followers seemed to have moved on and are not really that numerous. Shrug. Thanks again. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:59, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And I've unfollowed her because she tweets nonsense and far too often. –xenotalk 20:56, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help

New problem posted on my user page! It may be hard to understand though. I'm really bad at explaining things.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 23:13, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh and another thing, how do I find out how long I've been on wikipedia and how many edits I've made?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 23:39, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've been trying to help with the former and failing, but here's the latter. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 23:42, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I am amazing! --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 23:54, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, xeno, you may need to check it out anyway... >.> --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:27, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fine to me... –xenotalk 14:47, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't get the next one down to fit the same coding. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 14:50, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I normally float elements to the right thusly (follows) –xenotalk 14:51, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He actually explained it badly. Full details here (along with a bit of an explanation as to what I've been trying to do) and my experimental follies are on display on his user page. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:43, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can I get the executive summary? –xenotalk 20:47, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
My coding sucks? That's... pretty much all I can say. Ezekiel might have more though. Possibly "his coding really sucks and I'm regretting giving him that barnstar." --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:53, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hey hey hey.....hey. What are you getting at? My coding maybe unskilled but all I was just trying to say was... Revert it back to the way it was before you started editing, add in the infobox, and shorten the hidden bars so they don't overlap the infobox! Is it really that hard to understand! I feel really bad though, I'm being such a jerk and mooching off my friends to get them to do stuff for me. I'm really sorry... Wait a minute, you never gave me a barnstar.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 23:50, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Understanding fail. I meant that you would say my coding sucks and regret giving me the barnstar. >.> --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 23:57, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be too hard on yourself. No matter what, your always a better coder than me Jade.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 00:00, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • By executive summary, I meant, tell me what needs done in 20 words or less. I find the best way to prevent elements overlapping eachother is to use nested tables. –xenotalk 00:05, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Want an executive summary? Look at the bolded words.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 00:08, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[1] ? Bars are kinda short now and hidden begin doesn't seem to allow for a width param. –xenotalk 00:22, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, whatever you did, it was better than what I did. I created Frankenstein's template, gluing parts from four or more other templates together semi-randomly. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:28, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here is what I was talking about, see this diff? See how the two bars overlap the infobox? Can you shorten them just small enough so they don't overlap and do the same to the other bars. I don't need to have more than 1 in each row. Just 1 per row, one on top of another. Hows that sound?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 15:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How about now?xenotalk 15:25, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can you shorten them even more so they will go up to be next to the infobox?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 15:27, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I suck. Should I delete the barnstar you gave me and hand it to xeno? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 15:42, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I lowered it to 60% width; I guess you're on 1024x768? Lower it more if it still doesn't look right. –xenotalk 15:44, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sooooooooo Close. At firstI thought it was finished but them I clicked the "My Userboxes" bar and for some reason, all of the bars moved below the infobox. See for yourself. Why is that so?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 17:18, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Odd. On mine they simply go down as far as needed, though the bars do expand (that's because of the userbox table though). --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 17:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thats exactly what mine does, they do go down as far as need and expand. Perhaps we can adjust it so there is two columns instead of three. Would that help?--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 17:22, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Let's find out. (starts editing) --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 17:28, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Works on mine. What about you? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 17:30, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think y'all both need to invest in wider monitors =) –xenotalk 18:08, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks a lot guys! Barnstars for the both of you!--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 18:10, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Y'all both"? That's just the worst grammar I've seen in six minutes. And Ezekiel, you say "barnstars for the both of you." Does that mean I'm getting another one, or are you counting the one you've already given me? --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 18:17, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Check the description under Zeke's current problem and find out.--Ezekiel 7:19 S†rawberry Fields (sign) 18:46, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request

Hi, xeno. If you have a spare moment later, would you mind blocking Javert (just in case)? Thanks, –Katerenka 09:52, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments on my request for clarification

I've added a comment to show why I don't think your comment is correct - I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do... Deb (talk) 19:00, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Users will typically put a ;Response to (X) header if they are responding directly to another users' statement. Though I think "until" and "unless" have pretty much the same meaning in this case. –xenotalk 19:03, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding RfD closes

Hi, thanks for helping out with the RfD backlog. I may be mistaken here, but when deleting pages shouldn't you use an edit summary (or delete summary) of the pages date, instead of just RfD? Example here: Hiroshima terrorist attack I suspect from looking at it that after the page is archived in a couple of days, that link to the RfD will break, whilst a link to the RfD date page will persist. Apologies if I am incorrect, however I thought its better to ask and be wrong than remain silent! Happy editing, --Taelus (talk) 19:47, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing that out; just an error on my part (fixed). Cheers, –xenotalk 19:53, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks alot! --Taelus (talk) 11:57, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
