Cambois (Template:Pron-en KAM-əs) is a village in south-east Northumberland, England. It is situated on the north side of the estuary of the River Blyth between Blyth and Ashington on the North Sea coast.

History

According to Paul L. Younger of Newcastle University, the etymology of the name is likely to be Gaelic. http://www.staff.ncl.ac.uk/p.l.younger/documents/TheGaelicFoundationsoftheGoldenAgeofNorthumbria.pdf
