Perceptive Software is a privately held software development company headquartered in Shawnee, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City, with international offices in Bracknell (near London), Australia and Singapore. Its flagship product, ImageNow, is an enterprise content management solution deployed at more than 2,000 organizations across 30 countries.
In 1995 Perceptive Software began developing the ImageNow suite, and the market's demand for the solution has fueled the company's growth, transforming what once was a tech start-up to an organization that today employs more than 460 associates. The company was named one of Kansas City's Best Places to Work by the Kansas City Business Journal [1] for four consecutive years (2003-2007). In 2007, Perceptive Software began a partnership with Kansas City's Sprint Center to host the venue's VIP Lounge, the Perceptive Software Founder's Club [2].
ImageNow is an enterprise content management software that includes document management, document imaging and workflow solutions. The company’s patented LearnMode technology is designed to non-programmatically integrate with an organization's existing departmental or enterprise-wide processes.
Perceptive Software's customer base draws heavily from the higher education, health care, financial services and public sector industries[3], among others. Notable customers include California Institute of Technology, Citigroup, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, PepsiCo International, Dick's Sporting Goods and Avis Europe[4].
