Rollback

Following your recent request at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Rollback, and the edits you've made since, I've re-reviewed your contributions, and would be happy to grant you rollback if you still want it. Let me know if you do, and I'll set the permission for you. Keep up the good work! —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 13:26, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks.  —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 17:05, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
Thank you for your outstanding work reverting vandalism. MMS2013 23:16, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have requested semi-protection for The Little Orphan. Since you have reverted several times already, you may wish to chime in here. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 22:13, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anything we can do about the guy who's been sitting on the page recently? I'm not well-versed in Anti-Vandalism techniques, so I don't know if I was right to request semi protection for this article. It's been getting out of hand with this particular vandal. Is there any way to block his IP? Thanks for the help with reverts, by the way. Kithira (talk) 02:03, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kithira! I am also fairly new, so I will let you know my understanding of the situation; however, you may want to ask someone more experienced if I am correct in my assumptions...This type of situation seems to be first dealt with by reverting the edits in question, and then warning the vandal on their talk page. I have done so here. It seems as though this particular user is headed for blocking, but may decide to cease their unconstructive edits. If the user does not, semi or full protection may be decided upon by an administrator. Thank you for your interest in and help with the encyclopedia, and I f I can help any more, please don't hesitate to contact me.Thatguyflint Talk to me! 19:54, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You guys are idiots. My page was clear, concise, and accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Huhnad (talkcontribs) 20:12, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

While your edits may very well have been "clear, concise and accurate", they had no place in the Cal Ripken, Sr. Collegiate Baseball League article. If you would like to make a page about the "Patrick Malone Donation Fund", there are methods in place for that purpose.--Thatguyflint Talk to me! 20:33, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Steven Seagal

THE TRUTH IS NOT VANDALISM - Steven Seagal WAS rejected by the OCSD for his ties to organized crime and he NEVER attended ANY police academy in California - EVER. (unsigned by 96.41.73.122)

Hello! The information you placed on my talk page and the article may very well be true, in which case your edit dispute would be with user:NeilN, not me. What I reverted was the contention that the subject was an "alleged" actor, which is clearly not true. Whether or not he is an effective actor is certainly up for debate :), but he is definitely an actor. You can use the talk page for the article to discuss that. Thank you for your interest in Wikipedia, and I hope you do not let this incident prevent you from contributing constructively.Thatguyflint Talk to me! 23:26, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HOLY SHIT I'M SORRY!

GOD, I'm a retard. I am SO SORRY!!!! J.delanoygabsadds 04:22, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

*gives J.delanoy an odd look for the above remark* Anyway. About the IPs that keep attacking J.delanoy's page, don't bother warning them. They're all a super-banned user or his cronies, and warning them is just wasting your and the server's time. They're not going to stop. Hersfold (t/a/c) 05:10, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Knock off the bogus vandalism warnings

I sent the message to the wrong user, I put it on the Talk page of the person who had edited the article just prior to me, and not to your Talk page. I'm trying to fix it, you keep putting up these bogus vandalism warnings on my Talk page and I don't appreciate it. 99.166.95.142 (talk) 17:13, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

140.180.18.151

Thank you for dealing with 140.180.18.151 for Same-sex marriage ; might I ask you to handle the 3RR filing on him? He's well over for the day, but with a wiggling baby on my knee, I'm too distracted to figure out how to post the diffs. - Nat Gertler (talk) 20:40, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your kind words, NatGertler. However, since the issue is controversial, even contentious maybe, and that would be the first 3RR report I have done, I must regretfully defer to you or someone else that has more experience in these matters. Hello, 142.23.72.178. While your contention that "caman mcelligot is scarfaces biggest fan" may very well be true, it is not encyclopedic. I am placing a "Welcome" here below this message, which contains links to many helpful pages, so that you may better understand Wikipedia's policies, and contribute constructively. adding phone number for Dish Network

Why will you not let me add the phone Number for Dish Network Ordering? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.184.12.135 (talk) 22:52, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 74.184.12.135! I have removed your edits which placed a phone number due to the following: Wikipedia is not a directory (Entry #3). I thank you for your interest in and helpful though slightly misguided edits to Wikipedia, and hope that you will stay and help us. You may wish to read the welcome page for more tips on what is and isn't appropriate here. Also, please remember to sign any posts with four tildes (~~~~), so that other users can know who posted and where to respond. Thanks again, happy editing! Zebulon Pike

You reverted a change I made, which was trying to establish just exactly who "Calhoun" was. This was the only mention of him in the article and so I tried to draw attention to this error. I just made some more changes in an attempt to discover who "Calhoun" is.

Regards —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.12.252.113 (talk) 04:10, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 165.12.252.113! Thanks for not taking my revert badly! If I might make a suggestion: The article's talk page might be a more appropriate place for questions and comments of that sort. By being bold one would probably revert or undo the edit, and then post the question on the talk page. It would probably be a good idea to use the edit summary to let anyone know that you felt the information had no place in the article. Thanks, and happy editing! ADMIN-bubby9534

Are you a wikipedia administrator? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bubby9534 (talkcontribs) 18:32, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Bubby9534. No, I am not an administrator. I hope that my revert was not taken as overstepping my bounds by you or anyone else. The part that is bothering me is that I can't seem to find the revert in question. I believe this is due to the page having been deleted. I was using Huggle, and therefore I think I can safely say that I determined the edit to at least look like vandalism, but without seeing it I can't say for certain. Is it the deletion you are wondering about? Thatguyflint Talk to me! 18:41, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If it is indeed the deletion you are wondering about, you may wish to ask User:SchuminWeb or User:Acroterion. It looks to me like Acroterion thought of the article as a test edit and SchuminWeb speedily deleted it. Thatguyflint Talk to me! 18:46, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

sorry... for spamming...

but there's this one thing... how can you delete those things so fast! And the guy below's complaining I had that too, but not with you... I actually contributed good information and some ippropriate humor, it lasted a few days then boom! Deleted... on the times square ball article. This seems pretty unfair, but if they don't like any changes at all, why do trhey put that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.24.250.160 (talk) 00:50, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

hey you deleted something that was relevant

I recently added a few sentences to the article puppy, that i and others, would find relevant. I would like an explantation. I feel this was rude and uncalled for, thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mendelson1123 (talkcontribs) 23:52, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not. Thatguyflint Talk to me! 23:56, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Upon further reflection, I have decided that it would be more wikipedia-like for me to address your concerns. I also believe that puppies are cute and adorable, but I don't think the information is encyclopedic. Please refrain from placing this type of information. You may wish to read the welcome page for more pointers. I apologize if you found my edit to be rude and uncalled for. Thanks for your input and happy editing! It is not unbiased

I had revised it to exprees only Henry's views. The reason why I did is because the existing views were not his own and were biased in nature. Please edit the content to express his views and not that of his enemies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doc1st (talkcontribs) 23:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Every single comment in the "views" contains peoples opinions of Henry morris views. I say that they are his views just to let people know that they are his and not someone elses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doc1st (talkcontribs) 23:22, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doc1st (talk) 23:52, 19 December 2009 (UTC) Hi there, I cant figure out how to get to the talk page, this is my first time using wikipedia. I was looking at henry morris's page and thought it was a shame how they had done that to him. I just want it to express his views not peoples criticism. Doc1st (talk) 23:52, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To Doc1st: every WP page has "discussion" tab at the top. Clicking it would bring you to the talk of that page (unless it is a talk page already :-). Materialscientist (talk) 23:54, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
