Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Talk:Geiger–Müller tube. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. LouriePieterse 09:42, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Magnum Force, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

What are you Talking about? If it is deleted I can't see it? No evidence=crime.68.231.189.108 (talk) 23:37, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Magnum force

I reverted your change the first time for a reason. We have style guidelines; your change did not conform to how we use bold. I've fixed this twice now. Dawnseeker2000 01:12, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The message I left you

It was very clear. You didn't seem to understand it though. Here it is again: Please stop using bold in a manner that is inconsistent with our manual of style. Use of bold should be is limited. Check it out at MOS:BOLD

I told you this in no uncertain terms on the first of February, yet you were at it again with this edit just a few days ago. This shouldn't be a big deal, but you seem confused. This is now the second time that I've tried to pass along a simple message. Dawnseeker2000 23:29, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I never got Any message until Today (2-21-2010). I was Told to use Bold Face for corrections by another. Simply correcting it doesn't do. The corrections aren't There in a second or two.

How am I supposed to correct?Who Are you? Not a Wiki d big wig, I don't think. And, No, I'm Not getting a "moniker"; that doesn't make me Less or More right. It makes No difference. 68.231.189.108 (talk) 23:35, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any message that indicates you've been told to use bold for corrections. I suppose it may have been another ip address that you've used.

No, I Was told by a user in some weird TextSpeak. I asked for translation into English. Then I was told to use BoldFace. I can't remember the exact discussion page, but it was there. OK, won't use BF. But please don't delete my editing immediately. Pleas ALLOW editing, don't just evapotrate it. That's why I asked on the discussion page How. I have put suggested edits in discussions, just to have my comments ignored or deleted by a user. (See:"The wild Bunch" . Another got his stuff deleted, too, and complained about it.I said it isn't fair, too.)68.231.189.108 (talk) 23:55, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But, if anyone told you that it's incorrect. All the bold guidelines are laid out at MOS:BOLD. Just don't do that anymore. It's incorrect. Dawnseeker2000 23:47, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see again "pipe bomb" has been reverted. This is ignorant. Plus, the Sand Box won't come up. I see only certains can edit. hmmm?68.231.189.108 (talk) 00:36, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for correcting the pipe bomb thing. You're right. It wasn't a pipe bomb. I only reverted it back because it was an incorrect use of bold. The sandbox works just fine. Click the link then click the edit button on the sandbox. Thanks again. Dawnseeker2000 00:57, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
