The Way of the Fist is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch, released on July 31, 2007. The album made its Billboard 200 debut at #199 on August 18, 2007, with sales of 3,800 and has currently sold over 350,000 copies in the US. It features the singles "The Bleeding", "Never Enough", and "Stranger Than Fiction".
Album information
The title track "The Way of the Fist" acquired considerable airplay on the Sirius satellite radio station Hard Attack in early 2007. The album's lead single, "The Bleeding," then provided a foothold on mainstream radio and MTV2 with its video. However, it wasn't until the album's summer 2008 re-issue that Five Finger Death Punch gained mass appeal with the hit "Never Enough", which is their second single. This would be followed by "Stranger Than Fiction", the album's third and final single, later that year.
