All data was found on IMDB, her personal website, and other readily available web sources. Hmoul 06:03, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please verify death information. It seems less than credible, as a Google search turns up nothing on her dying, except this Wikipedia article.

The reference to her memorial on her website says that she has passed away. 203.213.94.224 (talk) 11:35, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I would say if her official site says she's dead, then she's dead. For this reason I have updated the article accordingly. The fact there has been no other media coverage is curious, however not every family announces deaths to the whole world. The Rec Arts Movies Erotica (RAME.net) site also lists her death; although it is connected with official sources within the adult film industry, I don't know whether the link would be acceptable here. The URL is http://www.rame.net/faq/deadporn. It indictates the disease McComas was fighting, however I didn't add that to the article as it wasn't mentioned in the official announcement. I have left the "more sources" banner up on the article page as improvements are still needed in that area, plus her film career was more extensive than suggested by the article. 68.146.81.123 (talk) 15:49, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lorissa did indeed die November 3, 2009, although it was by suicide after multiple family tragedies and a long fight with RS dystrophy that had left her mostly wheelchair-bound. The auto calculator of her age needs to be turned off, as she was 38 when she died (23 days short of 39). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.108.150.81 (talk) 15:15, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's also worth noting (if it's going to be mentioned at all) that her arrest on charges of prostitution occurred in Cincinnati at the height of that city's war on pornography and so-called indecency. (During this period, merchants could not even display Playboy magazine behind a sales counter without covering up all but the title.) Lorissa was arrested for "prostitution" while working a bachelor party -- for allowing a customer to tuck a dollar bill into a garter around her thigh about two inches above her knee. Unbeknownst to Lorissa, who had recently launched her service, even that completely non-sexual act qualified as "prostitution" under Cincinnati's broad ordinance.
