Myma Seldon (born 9 August, 1979) is a British television - and radio presenter and voiceover artist.
Currently presents kmfm Daytimes from 10am to 3pm. The show is networked across all 7 kmfm stations.
She formerly presented the Drivetime show[1] on the three western KMFM stations (KMFM Maidstone, KMFM Medway and KMFM West Kent), local radio stations in Kent, England; and currently presents the networked "Sunday Night Love" slot across all seven KMFM stations. She was also the Regional Programme Controller (West) for the KMFM group.[2] She also provides voicetracked material for the Co-op's in-store radio station.[citation needed]
Prior to joining KMFM, Myma was at Invicta FM (Capital Radio's biggest regional station) and before that she presented the 11am – 3pm weekday show on London’s music and talk station Liberty Radio where she started her radio career on the 7pm-10pm evening show.[2]
She has a 2:1 English/Philosophy B.A. (Hons) from Leeds University.
Myma is a trained journalist, also having a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism, and has presented for ITV, CBBC, Eurosport and Challenge. She also presents on World of Motorsport on UK digital satellite stations Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and Extra.[3]
A fascination with Motorsports is evidently a family trait. Her father, Peter Seldon, has competed in the Kumho BMW Championship (winning in 1998 [4] and coming in second place in 2002.[5]) and her brother, Matt Seldon also races. [6] They both currently race in the European Endurance Race Club's Britcar series.[citation needed]
She appeared in the February 2002 issue of FHM magazine, a British men's magazine, in a feature on the UK's most attractive radio presenters, making the top six.[7] Unbeknown to her, a friend sent off a photo to the magazine and the first she knew of it was when she got a call saying she had made the top seven.[8]
