This page was previously a sort of gushing, unsourced review of the film. I took the source listed above, read it, and put in some changes where needed. I also corrected the previous author's English, although I left most of his original intent unchanged, just taking out some of the really excessive stuff (e.g. "Many in the film industry note Suriyothai for its grandeur and scope").

I remember hearing a couple facts about this film which might be interesting to put in, if we can find sources: - Does Queen Sikrit see herself as Suriyothai's reincarnation? - Was the film produced in order to be entered into the Oscar competition?
