Hi, I'd just like to say that i'm a big fan of the work you've done on here. I think you've contributed alot to Snoop Dogg and all his affiliated pages and I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out in editing Doggystyle ? I'm planning to get it to at least Good Article status at first, then maybe Featured. You seem like an experienced editor with an expansive knowledge of Snoop Dogg and the album itself, so I think you'd be a big help with improving the article, so what do ya say ? - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 22:03, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yo, anything that you can help with on the page would be great. I'm kinda the same with time now, I'll have very little time to edit from now on, but I think if we can work together we can still get stuff done. I'll try to get some other people involved, do you know anyone that is good at this sort of thing and would be willing to help out ? I've saw some other editors around that I think could help, but I hardly know anyone on the site. Btw, I didn't remove all the stuff you added because I thought it was crap, I done it because I think the info should be condensed down abit and put into diffferent parts of the article. I just removed it for now and placed it in my sandbox, so we can use it later. Also, I have went and looked for some sources which could be used on the article and I put them in my sandbox aswell. Anyway, I'll try to do some work on the page during today sometime, Later. - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 14:04, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah cool, that's a deal. I'll try to convert the 'professional views' section into prose, do you know how to source info from magazines, like "Entertainment Weekly (12/10/93, p.74-75)", would I just put that as a inline citation ? - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 18:00, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind that last part, I didn't need to cite it from the actual magazines. - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 19:07, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I added a full 'Music' section which seems pretty finished, we could maybe expand on the production part and explain how the album was actually recorded, but I'll leave that till later. I'm not sure about the 'Accolades' part, it looks abit short, do you know of anything else that it has been listed in ? Btw, if you have time, could you improve the 'Album information' section (I think the title should be changed to 'Background' or 'Overview', something like that, what do you think ?) I think the bonus tracks and Controversy could be added here and maybe stuff about how many formats it been released in (originally Cd, then released as a DualDisc, maybe it was released in a remastered format aswell). Do you think you'll have time to do it ? I'm gonna do a 'Songs' section 1st, so I'll try to do it after that if you can't. - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 21:02, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I put the article up for a GAN, hopefully it'll pass and become a GA ! - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 18:43, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think that would be cool, I don't think it would need it to become a GA, but for a FA that could help the 'comprehensivity' of the article. The only problem is sourcing the info, can you cite stuff from a DVD ? or do you know any sites on the net where we can get refs for it ? Btw, I never removed the sample section before, it wasn't there when I began editing the page but I'll try to put the info back into the tracklisting again. - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 13:19, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't seen either of them, so if you can give me quotes or the general ideas on the DVD's, then i'll put it onto the page if ya want. I'll check the site out and try to add the samples aswell. Later. - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 15:49, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Passed GAN, it's now a GA ! - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 14:59, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I put the article up as a FAC, hopefully they'll pass this one. - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 16:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link man, it was an interesting interview. I'll try to add some of it into the article. The stuff about the album not even being finished and had to be completed and mixed in 48 hours should be added, and maybe how they recorded it with Dre making and developing a beat while Snoop and Tha Dogg Pound were writing so they could hit the booth when Dre was finished, what do you think ? Anything else we should add ?- Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 16:03, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, good catch man. I think it would fit the 'History' section well, just want to make sure the site is reliable, I ain't never used it before so are you sure is it's trustworthy ? Either way, nice find :) - Guerilla In Tha Mist (talk) 15:58, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:2Pac - Toss it up.jpeg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Regarding "Billboard 200 list 1993-'94"

Lajbi~ You can certainly use my website as a citation. I got the Billboard 200 lists from various sources over the course of a decade or so; I have charts from 1990 to 2003. Sources for my lists include:

  • an interactive Billboard CD-ROM with charts from about 1955 to 1993
  • Newspaper (The Washington Times)
  • Magazines (Billboard and Rolling Stone)
  • Websites (Billboard.com and ArtistDirect.com among others)

A few comments:

  • The charts were converted directly from MS Excel -- which can explain the ugly formatting.
  • Albums in blue text represent albums that I own (or owned)
  • In the later years, I started including the SoundScan numbers for as many chart positions as I could find. These numbers came from various news articles linked from artistdirect.com. I haven't been to this site in a while, so I'm not sure if they still do this type of reporting.

Replaceable fair use Image:Nottz&Snoop&R.Kelly.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Nottz&Snoop&R.Kelly.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 13:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Beyonce ringthealarm-vid01.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Beyonce ringthealarm-vid01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:02, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Boom a fejbe.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Boom a fejbe.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 19:59, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Buttons.JPG

Thank you for uploading Image:Buttons.JPG.

Thank you. Stifle (talk) 12:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Big Pimpin Delemond.jpg)

⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Big Pimpin Delemond.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Replaceable fair use Image:LBC Crew collage.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:LBC Crew collage.jpg.

Fair use rationale disputed for Rhythum D image

The artist image for the Rhythum D article on Wikipedia has a non-free use rationale that is disputed because of the following concern: reason. Unless this concern is addressed by adding an appropriate non-free use rationale, such as Template:Non-free use rationale, or in some other way, the image will be deleted after Sunday, 10 May 2009. Please remove this template if you have successfully addressed the concern.

Note If you think the image should not be deleted, please discuss the matter with the editor who placed this template on the image. You can also place comments on the image talk page.

The rationale does not support the Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria:

  • "...before adding non-free content requiring a rationale, ask yourself: "Can this non-free content be replaced by a free version that has the same effect?" and "Could the subject be adequately conveyed by text without using the non-free content at all?" If the answer to either is yes, the non-free content probably does not meet this criterion."
  • "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding."

Black army

Kijavítottam a hiányos adatokat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.111.183.192 (talk) 10:23, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A svájci seregekről.

Tisztelettel maradok Lajbi Holla @ me 14:12, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
