Wikipedia Survey
I'm busy conducting a survey to find out what percentage of wikipedians have internet access. How many of you guys have access to the web? Ha ha, this was actually started for a new chatter subject: (Somebody else will have to think of a new subject for me :)) Banez 08:27, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

- Sorry...I access Wikipedia through carrier pidgeon. — Ilyanep (Talk) 22:10, 7 February 2315 (GCT)
- You actually use IP over pidgeon? Titoxd(?!? - help us)
- Yeah! It's become a little faster since RFC 2549 too :) — Ilyanep (Talk) 23:51, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- IP over pidgeon sounds like it could take off. It could be the cheap person's alternative to dial-up internet. I tried it once, but the damn thing crapped on my shoulder... (Remember, Wikipedia is not censored for the protection of minors!!! haz (user talk)e

- Sounds like the type of thing only a dry-cleaner can revert.... With that said, what do you need to run an IPOP server? This sounds like it might be a worthwhile deal! JDoorjam Talk 04:10, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know the specifics, but I would guess a few cages and some birdfeed (perhaps Apache for IPOP 2.0 might help you) would do it. The pidgeons are usually provided by the ISP, but you can get some at your local Best Buy. Parchment is best for sending packets, others suffer a greater packet loss. — Ilyanep (Talk) 04:19, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

My ISP is useless, I think the pidgeons are second hand, half the stuff doesnt get to me. Can you imagine trying to illegaly download music and have half of it not get to you? Infuriating. Banez 20:26, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

- Kudos! I always find a link to my userpage and go to it through Lupin's pop-ups (which I can no longer browse Wikipedia without) but this makes things a bunch easier. — Ilyanep (Talk) 23:54, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Howabout10
Still gone, never coming back just popped my head in and felt like saying hi to everyone. 05:06, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Update: Howabout1 has actually decided to return to the project. Thankfully, Sango123 took the time to welcome him back and helped to encourage him to keep contributing. Let's remember that Esperanza's purpose is to strengthen the community and to make users like Howabout feel welcome. --TantalumTelluride 05:52, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

- Just kidding. I don't like coffee either. --TantalumTelluride 20:57, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
Hot chocolate lounge
If you don't like coffee, come along to the hot chocolate lounge! — FireFox • T • 19:06, 15 February 2006
- That would most certainly be sent to MfD as a fork of this already questionable page. I say let's merge them by offering hot chocolate and other drinks here in the coffee lounge. --TantalumTelluride 20:20, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
