Disney Channel The Netherlands & Flanders (or Disney Channel) is the Dutch language edition of the Disney Channel, owned by the Walt Disney Company. It launched on October 3, 2009 exclusively on UPC Netherlands, and since November 1 in Belgium on Telenet Digital TV and Belgacom TV. Since June 22 Telenet added Disney Channel to there basic cable. The Belgian version is almost identical to the version of The Netherlands, the only exception is that the announcements are made in Flemish.

Launch date

  • October 3, 2009 - Launched Disney Channel in Netherlands.
  • November 1, 2009 - Launched Disney Channel in Belgium.
  • June 22, 2010 - Disney Channel was added to Telenet's basic cable listings.
