Brooke Levi Vincent (born 4 June 1992 [1]) is an actress in the British soap opera Coronation Street. She joined the soap in 2004, taking over from Emma Woodward in the role of Sophie Webster.

Career

Brooke is three years older than the character she plays, and shortly after landing the role of Sophie in Coronation Street, she appeared on Children in Need.

Brooke's first television appearance was as a guest character, Casey Emma Glass, in the TV series, The League of Gentlemen. She joined Coronation Street in April 2004 as the third actress to play Sophie Webster, replacing Emma Woodward who decided to leave the soap at the end of 2003. Brooke's first appearance was shown on 12 May.

Personal life

Brooke lives in Denton, Greater Manchester and has two half-sisters named Georgia and Holly.

Vincent attended Fairfield High School for Girls in Droylsden and now attends the central Manchester College to study drama. She works part time as a hairdresser in Manchester city centre as a part of her vocational course at college.
