Really?
Why does this even have an article? A few minor crimes that occur in locations in the US hardly merits an article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.111.118.93 (talk) 01:08, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
You guys....
What is up with this article?? This is ridiculous. Please delete this joke of an article before any serious anti-wikipedia entity finds out about this. Seriously.
Sincerely, some dude
Ridiculously USA-centric
Are the authors of this post even aware of how US-centric the tone and content of this post is? It's described as if it's some kind of global phenomenon, but not only are all the incidents listed from the US, the assumptions here are ridiculous. If it was a global phenomenon, would there really be enough owners of outdoor manger scenes who have the money, satellite access, and regular electricity to power lighting for an outdoor manger scene, let alone these apparently very prevalent GPS tracking systems and surveillance cameras this article implies have been deployed everywhere? This is so frustrating for me it's ridiculous, given that it's such an absurd topic anyway. Somewildthingsgo (talk) 01:03, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Incidents which have received significant coverage
Google News search yields some good stuff. The first item which comes up is a story from USA Today about a 70-year-old grandmother who was the culprit in one such case. PSWG1920 (talk) 07:22, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Is this really noteworthy?
While likely an annoying phenomenon if your Jesus figurine has dollar and/or spiritual value to you... does this really deserve a Wikipedia article? People steal stop signs too, which is much more dangerous, but does not have its own Wikipedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.49.19.120 (talk) 13:34, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Rly? Are you kidding me? This sad excuse of an article is listed as a good article? If this certifies for a listing, the criteria for good articles need a serious revision -- 85.179.59.93 (talk) 02:56, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Noteworthy?
I am usually an inclusionist, but this is a little ridiculous. If we made an article for everything that was stolen we wouldn't have time to work on anything else. Laurenwhisper 01:07, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
Consider a merge?
I know a lot of people are considering that this article should be deleted, but as far as the Christian movement goes, I know of a few who were greatly affected by it religiously. Is there a way that instead of this being deleted, could it possibly be merged with another article just as a small mention that pertains to that subject?
