Death unverified
Still waiting on a verifiable source regarding his death before updating this article. --DizFreak talk Contributions 00:19, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

This guy was on prime time television for almost 10 years. If he had actually died it would not be so difficult to find sources.--71.79.2.95 (talk) 03:08, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Here is another source for his death, http://nems360.com/view/full_story/10968796/article--Angel%E2%80%99-actor-Dye-of-Amory-dies?instance=home_news_bullets — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msumaniac (talk • contribs) 03:22, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Neither of those sources should be reliable enough to cite him as dead. --71.79.2.95 (talk) 04:16, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
- Okay guy. I never said my source SHOULD be reliable enough. I merely asked if it was. But thanks. Eseress (talk) 04:19, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
http://www.wcbi.com/article.php?subaction=showfull&id=1294780306&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2& "Family members say he died from heart related problems". That should be enough confirmation. Can we edit his article now? Eseress (talk) 05:04, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Another citable source including a quote from his father. Think we can call this one official now. http://www.wcbi.com/article.php?subaction=showfull&id=1294780306&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2&
I don't understand what's going on. Why isn't a more credible source noting his passing? According to our links his family has even supposedly confirmed his death, yet nobody is discussing this. I find this incredibly odd. If anything, I think we should at least mention in his article rumors of death. Eseress (talk) 06:24, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
WCBI website includes a video interviewing his father in the left scroll bar. http://www.wcbi.com/ I'm not sure what else you'd want. I used to run John's website - that's definitely his father Jim and as horrible as this is for me and those who knew him, he's really gone. This is silly...John's been out of the spotlight for a few years, so Hollywood isn't that interested...doesn't mean it didn't happen. Jim should know - John was his son long before he was the public's actor. Just update it and move on.
