Joachim Louis Napoléon Murat, 8th Prince Murat (Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France, 26 November 1944 is a member of the Bonaparte-Murat family.
Biography
Being the posthumous and the only son of Joachim, 7th Prince Murat, he married Laurence Marie Gabrielle Mouton on 11 October 1969 in Paris. They have five children:
1. Princess Caroline Laetizia Victoire Alix, b. in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 31 October 1971.
2. Prince Joachim Charles Napoléon, Prince of Pontecorvo, b. in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 3 May 1973. He is the heir presumptive to his father.
3. Princess Laetitia Caroline Marie Pierre, b. in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 27 August 1975.
4. Princess Élise Marie Annonciade, b. in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 16 February 1977 (twin with Princess Pauline).
5. Princess Pauline Béatrice Marie, b. in Neuilly-sur-Seine on 16 February 1977 (twin with Princess Élise).
