Rollback (add request)

I am re-applying as I have now familiarized myself with Twinkle and usually watch the recent changes page and look for suspicious edits by anonymous users. SilverSoul91911 (talk) 20:04, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Done by HJ Mitchell. You seem to be getting the hang of it. Although I'm granting the request on good faith, I would be watching your contributions for a couple of weeks to ensure you're using it appropriately. Feel free to drop into my talk page for any assistance. May I request you at this point to also read up on what constitutes vandalism and what does not? Use the tools well. Thanks. Wifione ....... I have been watching Recent Changes for a while reverting edits by anon users, I would like to request rollback rights to revert continuous vandalism and would like to help out more. I am familiar with using rollback rights on other smaller wikis reverting vandalism. Thanks. Theo10011 (talk) 21:44, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have recently been following WikiProject Oregon's recent changes watchlist to revert vandalism to pages in the project's scope, and I would greatly appreciate tools to make this task easier. Jsayre64 (talk) 03:37, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a few articles and improved some. I have come across vandalism quite often especially in articles supported by WikiProject Tamil Nadu. If I am granted the reviewer user right, it would be easier for me to revert vandalism, more so in the case of anonymous user who vandalise with multiple edits. --Suraj T 09:44, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I cannot determine if you are requesting rollback or reviewer, so I'll consider this a request for both. I haven't given you rollback permissions because you don't have enough experience with reverting vandalism (and when you do revert vandalism, you don't seem to be warning vandals). However, you do seem to understand all of the basic content policies, so I've given you reviewer rights. I'll mark this as  Not done for the bot, though. Although I'm a relatively new user, I believe I have already demonstrated good judgement in distinguishing vandals. My main focus is the recent changes page, concentrating on anonymous (IP) edits. It is very difficult, tedious, and time-consuming to revert multiple edits that appear as vandalism, which is why I think the rollback feature would be useful to me, thus improving the integrity of Wikipedia as well through constructive edits.  Angelo  ♫  23:09, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done It's important that you warn the users you revert. Warnings can help misguided users and help to track more prolific vandals so they can be reported to administrators and blocked. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:52, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've been reverting a lot of edits mostly by unregistered users acting in good faith and vandalism too. The rollback feature would be a good privilege to aid in my reverts to inappropriate edits. Signed | Aoghac2z 01:34, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I come across a fair share of unjustified/unwarranted edit on my watchlist. Especially when users make multiple edits that needs reverting, it's be more convenient (and reliable) to have the rollback feature instead of doing the diff and manual editing. I do a lot of vandal bashing, and would like to be able to speed up the process. Mesoderm (talk) 05:45, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Clearly you are going in the right direction, but you have not really been here long enough, or as yet gained enough experience.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:23, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Requesting Rollback so that I may use Huggle to make reverting vandalism a little bit more efficient than simply refreshing the Recent Changes page. Thanks! Doriftu (talk) 05:58, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, I'd like to see more than one day of anti-vandalism work. Please feel free to request again in a few weeks. Nakon 05:59, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done, I don't see any recent anti-vandalism experience. Nakon 03:40, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
