Sylvain Jomphe (born March 27, 1988) is known over the Internet as Inochimizu.

Although he currently lives in Québec, Canada, he has spent some time in the United States and the United Kingdom.

He has completed a B.Ed. in the teaching of second languages at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, a 4-year programme focusing on the teaching of English as a second language to primary school and secondary school students having French as a native language.

He is currently completing an M.A. in linguistics at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi studying the relationship between instruction and perceived fluency in English as a second language in secondary school students in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
