Expansion
Can someone knowledgeable on this topic expand this article? I find it hard to believe that a company of this size and age has ONE sentence in Wikipedia. —lensovet–talk – 04:13, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Pop Culture References
In an episode of Sex and the City in which Charlotte is taking steroid hormone injections in a vain effort to get pregnant, her then-husband Trey admonishes his wife, as he injects her, "You've got more hormones in you than a Perdue chicken!" This line was subsequently inexplicably changed to, "You've got more hormones in you than a teenage boy!" for the DVD release and subsequent broadcasts. Perhaps the concern was that the audience would not understand the reference, or else perhaps there was some liability concern. We may never know.
Fair use rationale for Image:Perdue logo.png
Image:Perdue logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Red links
Note that links should not be removed from an article simply because they are red. Red links are links to potential future articles and just because those articles have not yet been created doesn't mean that they never will be created. Both links are to notable people and therefore the names should be linked per WP:RED whether the articles exist or not.-Jeff (talk) 02:25, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
criticism
What about criticism of being cruel. HSUS has sued them over lying about humanly raised animals. http://www.humanesociety.org/assets/pdfs/farm/perdue_complaint.pdf --24.94.251.190 (talk) 16:38, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
