Uploader of countless theatrical movie posters over the years and will be concentrating on the renaming of such. Quentin X (talk) 16:21, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have extensive experience with files. I have read the policies that come along with filemoving and understood them. I will mostly be using the filemover userright to move files that have been misspelled (they probably will be mines though). It was removed because Eagles 247 thought I had no understanding of policies which I do. It was that at the time of my upload of a photo I placed the wrong template on the file page but I never noticed it.
You'll have to provide something stronger than "the other guy was wrong". It was removed less than 24 hours ago. Take some time to engage in other image-related edits and demonstrate you know policy, then come back and make a request. In a couple of months. Ironholds (talk) 20:30, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All I am saying is that filemover is a userright that will come in great need because I am always making typos when I upload images and I previously requested it on NawlinWiki's user talk page because I didn't want to keep running to admins for it. Also for the sake of clarification, I never said Eagles 247 was "the bad guy". Jessy (talk) (contribs) • 20:35, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
  • This is the 13th userright permission you've requested this month. Having more userrights does not make you more important, or privileged, or respected; userrights are handed out when it can be demonstrated that there is a need for them. If your sole purpose with filemover is to correct your own typos, I would suggest that you would be better off paying a bit more attention to the proposed title when you upload files in the first place. I am freaking tired of everyone wasting me because of this. I will not take it anymore. This I hate Eagles 247 for. since he made that comment every action I undertake somebody is fucking me in the ass for it. I have understood that I am not a better Wikipedian because of user rights in fact I never thought that. Please If you are going to deny for the user right then fine but just let me make this clear. Then I would suggest you focus on quality rather than quantity (and, fwiw, stop swearing). Ironholds (talk) 21:02, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
