Rijnmond (literally, the "Rhine Mouth", the "Mouth of the Rhine" or the "Rhine Estuary") is a Dutch term ordinarily used to refer to the Rotterdam region in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands.[1]

Another term used in this context is the Stadsregio Rotterdam (literally, "the Rotterdam Urban Region" or more conventionally, "the Greater Rotterdam Area").[2]
