Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MeyerLanskySmaller.jpeg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Mafia-14.jpg. The copy called Image:Mafia-14.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 12:45, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Carlogambino1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Carlogambino1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:06, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Soprano crime family. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Gscshoyru 21:38, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Soprano crime family. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Edit war on Soprano crime family

[edit]

Hello.

Would you please stop adding the redundant boss list etc? Participate in the discussion instead, so we can try to find a solution -cun 15:07, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so, I have much as right to contribute to this Soprano site as you. Wikipedia is an open site, so you're just have to accept it... Shormi

You have to participate in the discussion to solve the problem -cun 16:37, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dear sir, everyone is free to contribute to Wikipedia, and everyone is free to revert also. You have a stronger case if you join in the actual debate and fight for your cause. You remove the tag about the article not referring to its sources. Why? You add controversial information without references. You add a redundant list of bosses. Why? It destroys the article -cun 14:56, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey listen, I'm sick of that lawyer you think you are, but if you read my discussion-bullshit, as I've written, I SAY THAT I WON'T CHANGE THAT STUPID FUCKING ARTICLE ON THE SOPRANO CRIME FAMILY SITE ANYMORE, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH IT. I AM NOT GOING TO KEEP ADDING MY LIST OF BOSSES, EVEN THOUGH IT REALLY APROVES THE ARTICLE FOR THE BETTER. I WILL NOT KEEP ADDING THINGS ON YOUR STUPID FUCKING SOPRANO CRIME FAMILY-SITE!!!! HAPPY??? DON'T CONTACT ME AGAIN!!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shormi (talkcontribs) 17:01:17, August 19, 2007 (UTC).

It is sad that you feel this way. You shouldn't keep a rude and aggressive tone like that and neither should you assault the person like you just did. You have never tried to defend your choices. Wikipedia is about adding content and defending them, not doing whatever you want on an article and expecting no feedback. Sincerely, -cun 23:58, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe, but I don't have the time to do that. I'm very busy right now, and I've said I don't want to give reasons for why I want the list of bosses there, but never mind, it's not that important, I've said that I don't have to bring it on to your fucking site. OKAY? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shormi (talkcontribs) 12:49, August 20, 2007 (UTC).

Unspecified source for Image:Carlogambino1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Carlogambino1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:55, 25 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shell babelfish 02:55, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Attacks in the article Joseph Corozzo

Please do not make personal attacks as you did at Joseph Corozzo. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Excuse me, but I'm just trying to regain information of the Gambino crime family. I'm not trying to hurt or attack anyone. I'm very sorry if you feel that way: BUT I CAN DO WHAT THE FUCK I WANT!! Notability of Sonny Gambino

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sonny Gambino, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sonny Gambino seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sonny Gambino, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Notability of Sonny Gambino

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sonny Gambino, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Oli Filth 18:39, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sonny Gambino, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Oli Filth 18:40, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Sonny Gambino. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Oli Filth 18:53, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Sonny Gambino, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Sonny Gambino satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). You are free to edit the content of Sonny Gambino during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Oli Filth 19:03, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi,

Please stop re-adding the same links over and over, as none of them mention the subject of the article, so they're irrelevant.

Thanks, Oli Filth 19:06, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NO FUCK YOU! THIS IS MY FUCKING SITE. STOP DELETING MY SITES, YOU FUCKING HOMOS!!!!!!!!!

Please stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Sonny Gambino, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Oli Filth 19:11, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ahhh, let me think. NO! Why the fuck should I do that?? That site is created by me, why is it something wrong with it. It's a great article on a living mobster, who might end up controlling the Gambino crime family someday... Why is it that every time I try to create an article, somebody, like yourself, is so fucking annoying and tries to delete it. EVEN WHEN IT'S NOT DONE YET!!! Let me tell you something: STOP DELETING AND CHANGING MY SITE, DO UNDERSTAND THAT??? THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A note about civility

[edit]

When responding to other editors on Wikipedia, please keep in mind our policy on civility. If you disagree with the actions of another editor, attacking them with profanity is definitely not the way to go. If you need any help with your articles let us know. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 19:29, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Allright. Sorry, but it's just so annoying when your article isn't even finished, and already people are trying to change it. But if you, in any way, can improve my article on Sonny Gambino, I would really appreciate it...

  • Well I don't really know anything about your topic, but I can offer some suggestions. First, you should go to the Articles for Deletion debate for the article and explain why you think it should be kept. Second, and most importantly, you have to have verifiable sources for claims made in the article. That means any links you provide should back up the claims made in the article. Lastly, please keep in mind that anytime you add an article to Wikipedia anyone else is allowed to change it, so long as the changes conform to Wikipedia policy. You may start an article, but it is not really "your" article. The only way to keep things the way you want is to start your own web page. If you have any questions let me know. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 19:40, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Please don't add "alleged" facts to articles. Also, please make an attempt to write material in a neutral, encyclopaedic tone.

Oli Filth 18:33, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Sonny Gambino, you will be blocked from editing. If you aren't prepared to make edits that are written in a suitable tone, please don't make edits at all. Oli Filth 17:30, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

September 2007

Well excuse me

[edit]

Excuse me, but is it me who's vandalizing Sonny Gambino? You're not the one who's keeping on changing it and deletes stuff from the article. No wonder the article has so many warnings of delition. You are destroying it!!! I'm the one who should give you a warning. How do I give warnings?? I find out, and I'm going to give you a fucking warning. I've had it!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shormi (talkcontribs) 18:35, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
