Plot

Tanya (Aishwarya Sakhuja) is a beautiful, intelligent and multi-faceted teacher in Mumbai. She and Tej (Ravi Dubey) have been in love for two years, which is why her parents begin to talk about their marriage. Tej however, is reluctant to tell his family about Toasty because of a problem in his family. While he does not want to cheat her by keeping the truth from her, he is scared of losing her if he tells her about his family's problem. The problem: his family has no woman in it. All 7 family members are men, who actually hate women. One dadaji, a father, and his 5 sons, Tej being the middle one. The whole family at first refuses to the marriage, since they do not want a woman in the house, as they believe it would cause an imbalance in their lives. Finally, they agree to the marriage, through anonymous voting, and the wedding takes place.

We have found out the reason all the men of the house hate women is because the eldest brother, Pashu, was married to a woman named Malti who left him. She couldn't handle all the housework and felt she was just a maid, not a bahu. Since she left there has been a long court case going on in which she is asking for money from the family, accused 2nd oldest brother, Ved, of molestation, and Pitaji/Pashu arrested for taking dowry. Recently, Ved has been getting closer to one of Toasty's best friends, Nitika. She was engaged to Rajan, but his mother was manipulative and asking for a lot of money from Nitika and her parents, which Ved helped uncover. Nithika's wedding is officially broken off with little help from Ved. Nithika begins to regard Ved as an extremely good friend and perhaps a little more than that.

Toasty and Tej and planned to be sent on a honeymoon soon but things get messed up when Pashu Bhayya sees Toasty with Malti on the day before her birthday. Tej, Gyan, Prachin, and Dadaji are making arrangements in the house for a surprise to Toasty at exactly 12:00 AM on her birthday. After she is revealed of the surprise, Pashu Bhayya tells everyone she met with Malti. Everyone is pissed off at her including Tej as they misunderstand that she was conspiring with Malti, and no one wants to listen to the truth that she has to say. Only Gyan still believes that something is wrong and that Toasty is innocent, and Dadaji also has a small suspicion that Toasty maybe innocent. Now, Pitaji has told Tej to throw out Toasty but Gyan interfers and calls for Guptamaddon. Pitaji agrees and a voting is set for the next day to find out if Toasty is to stay in the house or be thrown out, and to see how many people in the house are respective of his decisions as he says it. Pithaji says to write Yes for Toasty to stay and No to leave. The votes stand as thus: Gyan and Toasty definitely vote YES, Pithaji, Pashu Bhayya, Tej (shown crying while casting his vote), and as it later revealed Prachin vote NO. There is one more YES vote and one empty vote. These two votes are Ved Bhayya and Dadaji. Ved Bhayya is suspected to vote YES and Dadaji left an empty vote. Toasty is thrown out of the house and her parents are extremely digusted with her in-laws and go to their house and fight with them. Meanwhile, some truths come out. While Prachin wanted Toasty to stay, he only casted a vote against her because he was afraid of Pashu Bhayya. Dadaji thinks that a big mistake has been done with Toasty. And Tej feels guilty for what has happened and extremely misses Toasty and regrets voting against her.

Toasty's friends and family are very mad with her in-laws, especially Tej as they all trusted him to always stand by her. However, Toasty tells them to stop cursing her in-laws and pray for her that everything is going to be fine. In Tej's house, no one is able to do any job properly without Toasty, and everyone, either deep in their heart or showable on the surface, miss Toasty's prescene. Pashu Bhayya begins shouting for Toasty to bring Chai. Without Toasty, they can't do anything from making chai, or cooking food to finding their own clothes. No one is capable of properly doing their own work anymore as Toasty did everything for them.

After Toasty's departure, Gyan is angry with the entire family and is always quiet. He really wants to meet Toasty but says that when she sees him, tears will come to her eyes and he doesn't want to see Toasty crying. Prachin too regrets casting the vote against Toasty and extremely misses her. He goes to meet Toasty and gives her one of his favorite plants saying that they both will come back to their own house soon. Prachin also tells Toasty that it feels like their mother left them again. Dadaji also misses Toasty very much. According to Prachin, Dadaji goes around the entire house all day hoping to bump into Toasty. Pitaji acts as though nothing ever happened; Pashu Bhayya is out to find out who casted the third YES vote; and Ved Bhayya is afraid of what is going to happen when Pashu Bhayya finds out it was him. More than all, Tej keeps seeing Toasty everywhere and dreams that she is back in the house. He extremely regrets his decision but doesn't know what to do.

Malti keeps trying to talk to Toasty, but Toasty keeps ignoring her calls. Fed up with it, she finally talks to Malti saying its the last time. Nitika was beside Toasty as she was telling her that she found out that Ved Bhayya voted for Toasty because Nitika called him and asked him to take care of Toasty on her birthday before she was thrown out. Nitika grabs the phone and tells Malti tha Toasty was thrown out of the house because of her. Malti is shocked but her mom is happy saying that it is good for their court case. Meanwhile, Pashu Bhayya is extremely angry with Ved Bhayya as he heard Ved tell Nitika that he didn't vote against Toasty. Pashu Bhayya says that there is no longer any relationship between the two of them. Suddenly, Malti comes to Chaturvedi House and tells them that Toasty is innocent and a victim of the game, and that Toasty had no idea that someone was playing this game with her. She also says that all of this was her mother's plan. Malti makes them all realize how much Toasty loves this family, how Toasty never complains about the work like she did, how she always sides with the Chaturvedi Family even against her mother. She also makes Tej realize his mistake and how much Toasty loves him. After she leaves, everyone, even Pashu Bhayya, realizes their mistake and wish to correct it, so they decide to go and bring Toasty back but Tej stops them. He tells them that he wants to end this relationship, that he is not fit to be a husband, he can't fulfill the duties of a husband, and doesn't deserve Toasty. He says that he loves Toasty very much but if another misunderstanding like this happens again and no one is there to tell them the truth like Malti did now, he can't bear it. Tej says that he broke Toasty's trust and cheated her. He says that he does not deserve her so there is no need to bring her back. After Tej leaves, Prachin tells everyone that they should still bring back Toasty. After she is back, Tej will change too and everything will be fine. Everyone agrees but Pitaji says that they should go get her because although he has the strength to see Toasty, he does not have the strength to hear her forgiveness without him even having to ask for it. Prachin tells Pashu Bhayya that Tej was with him when he need him now its Pashu Bhayya's turn to be with Tej. He says that Tej doesn't want to break this relationship and has himself broken down and only Toasty can bring him back to normal now. So, Pashu Bhayya, Ved Bhayya, Prachin and Gyan go to Toasty's house.
