I always strive to be a reasonable and fair administrator; however, if you believe I have in any way abused my sysop tools, I strongly encourage you to leave a note on my talk page. If, after you and I have discussed the issue, you do not believe I have satisfactorily addressed your concerns, you may initiate a recall request. If your request is successful, I will immediately resign my adminship here at the English Wikipedia.[1][2] I will only re-apply for adminship through RfA.

Who may initiate a request

Any user may initiate a request, as long as they meet the following requirements:

  • Their first edit was at least two months before they initiated the recall procedure.
  • They have at least 1,000 edits.
  • They have not been subject to a block within the past two months.[3]

Procedure

To initiate a request, issue a statement in the following section explaining how you believe I abused my sysop rights:

Statement

Choosing a clerk

These administrators have agreed to help as a clerk. Please choose a clerk and notify them on their talk page.

The clerk will:

  1. Determining whether the initiating user meets the requirements.
  2. Notify the community of this request at various noticeboards, including WP:AN, WP:ANI, WP:BN, and WT:RFA.
  3. Decide whether participating admins meet the "good-standing" requirement.
  4. Interpret the end result.

Voting period

The voting period will last for 48 hours; the clerk will then interpret the end result. If they determine that five administrators in good standing have endorsed your request, it is considered successful. Participating administrators are not required to provide a rationale for endorsing the request, but may explain their opinions if they so desire.

Administrators who endorse recall request:

  1. .
  2. .
  3. .
  4. .
  5. .

Input

Any other user may weigh in on this request at the talk page.

Notes

  1. ^ This does not apply to other projects where I have sysop rights.
  2. ^ Common sense will dictate which other rights I may retain (eg. rollback, autoreview, Edit filter manager, etc.)
  3. ^ Disregarding any blocks issued by me.
